"Where are we?" The taxi stopped in front of a housing complex. The place was being lighted just right by the street lights. "It's my mother's apartment." Rylan carried me upstairs until we reached a certain door. "I can't take you home so, this is the only place I could think of right now." He pressed certain numbers on the door lock and it opened. "Come on in." He said after he let me stand on my own. When the lights turned on, I saw every piece of furniture was covered with white sheets. But by the looks of it, this place has not been occupied for a while now. Rylan took his jacket off. "My mother chose everything inside. After she died, everything was left untouched." I walked to see the place a little bit. "Is this your mother?" I saw a photo that was left uncovered. A beau
