The road was already dark and only a few street posts were lighting our way. I'm still worried about what happened. I just can't stop myself from overthinking that I kept looking back.
"It seems that nobody is following us," he said. I'm sure he can see how worried I am.
"Rylan, I'm scared." I dug my hands onto my face to stop the tears that were about to fall. "He's near us. He must have been there to be able to make those flames appear. H-he knows who we are and what we were supposed to do."
With his cloning idea, Rylan came up with. New questions about my being came up to my head. Who is this person who cloned me? Why did he leave me alone?
"I'm sure he never had you out of his sight from the moment he cloned you, but we never noticed. I wonder how he did that?"
