Rylan and Troy came to my aid but I stood up on my own.
The beast landed in front of us showing its true form. Its body resembles a horse but its head looks like a lion, flowering its long, shiny hair that almost touching the ground.
"That's your true form," Rylan mumbled. "But you harm your queen. Seira is Norcana."
The beast kicked his back leg as if sending us a warning. "I know. She is the second clone of Queen Norcana. I have protected this place for thousands of years. I never met the queen herself but I once met the first clone."
This beast had been guarding this place for thousands of years. That means it has been alive since ancient times!
I took a step forward. "Let me pass as well, tell me exactly what this fortress is," I commanded.
