After Owen hung up, I looked back at Lizzy. She was staring at me, waiting to ask questions.
“Where is lover boy taking you to?” She asked.
“I don’t know, I am also eager to find out.” I said.
I was so excited to go out with Owen, even though I didn’t know where he was taking me to.
“Lizzy let’s continue our chat later, I need to work.” I said and dismissed her. I didn’t want her to slow me down. I wanted to finish all I had to do quickly so I wouldn’t have to stay at work for extra minutes.
Just after I had finished my work for that day, Owen called me. ‘Just in time baby.’ I said to myself before picking the call.
“Are you done?” He asked over the phone. “I’m waiting outside.”
“I’ll be right there.” I said excitedly and hung up.
