Chapter Sixteen
I knew that I shouldn’t think this way. It would only get me hurt.
Shaking my head, I pulled his shirt on. It fell to the tops of my thighs, barely covering anything. I didn’t care. It made me feel close to him and I was going to savor that feeling while it lasted.
Click, click, click.
I frowned, tilting my head to the side as the steady clicking grew in rhythm, pulling me out of my thoughts about Leo. I walked through the sitting area and put my ear to the door. The sound grew louder and I wondered what they were doing out there, what that sound was?
