They go back to the car before Ronan speaks—he doesn’t turn to Dustin until they are inside the car. “Did you see anything?” Ronan asks. “Yes, Jamie is still alive. And she’s being kept with other girls. I heard at least two others,” Dustin explains. “Anything else?” Ronan presses. “Jamie thought of the captor’s face as ‘inhuman.’” Dustin bites his lip.
