Chapter 8   "Okay, just give it a little bit of gas," Logan explains as I creep along the street in his black Challenger. I'm nervous, due to our close proximity, but I'm trying to make the best out of it. After all, I am a terrible driver. I need all the help I can get. When I press the gas pedal, we go flying forward. Just as I'm about to slam into a mailbox, I hit the brakes, bringing the car to a screeching halt. I look over at Logan and notice his eyes are closed and his mouth is moving as if he's silently praying. Probably not such a bad idea at the moment. "I said a little bit of gas, Katie.
