"Kent?" I blinked numerous times. He narrowed his eyes at me and walked into the room, taking advancing steps towards me. I took steps at the same rate backwards, my heart dashing in my body. I was supposed to be mad at him but I could not bring myself to.
He was inches away and when he raised his hands, I flinched and shut my eyes tight. I waited for an impact but got nothing at all. I opened my eyes to counter what was going on and instead of a shocking encounter, he was on his knees instead, his hands glued together in a praying manner.
