"Well, we have a coin," he pulled out a gold piece and showed me one side with his likeness and the other with his royal crest, "Pick a side,"
"The crest,"
He nodded. "Good, now if it hands on my side, i get to ask you any question, and you have to answer truthfully, and the same goes if it lands on your side."
He flipped the coin and caught it, "It landed on my side," he showed me.
"So, what's the question."
"What will it take for you to, at least, like me?" He sat down with me on the furry rug before the hearth.
"I don't know if I ever will, but if I do, I guess I just need to get to know who you really are."
He thought about it for a second before flipping the coin again. It landed on my side.
"What do you truly want from me? is this all just political play?" I watched him think for a moment before he pushed his hair out of his face and spoke.
"It's not just political, I know I've not gone about this as well as I could've, but I chose you because you were suggested by my advisors that your personality would make you compatible with me. I knew I needed someone who didn't have that completely submissiveness about them. I didn't and don't want a meek little girl, I want a queen who would hopefully, one day, find me at least favourable."
I didn't think that would be his answer, I didn't know how to reply to that.
"But surely there were other women?" I wondered.
"There were about twenty other possibilities, but they said none were rumoured to be as beautiful or strong-willed as you. You were the diamond, and as soon as I wrote to your father, he immediately said yes." He sighed and bit his bottom lip for a second, "I did not know he'd not told you and my nature in public is different than I'd like to be in private with you and only my closest friends. I did not mean to upset you."
"If you did not mean to upset me, then why were you so cold towards me that night?" I didn't believe him.
"I was in a strange hot landing wasn't accustomed to, to marry a girl I'd never truly met, and then I found her sneaking out at night to go to some peasents home. I was jealous."
He was jealous of Reed?
"He is truly a friend, nothing else."
I ran my fingers through th white fur of the rug beneath us.
"But he wanted more, didn't he? And you may not even admit it to yourself, but the way you spoke of him told me more than enough." He sighed, "But now we are married, and we have a duty."
"We do," I agreed.
"However," he gently pulled me towards him to hold my hands as he spoke, "I am not delusional, I do not expect you to fall hopelessly in love with me all of a sudden, if at all."
"Oh?"
"We can have an agreement," he explained, "Once you give me an heir, you will be free to take a lover. But you must be discreet. I will not have the kingdom knowing about it."
I knew what he was saying. All we had to do was make sure the first boy I gave birth to was his son, and then after that, it didn't matter.
"Okay," I agreed. "But if we're to make the most of this agreement, then I'd like you to teach me how to be a good lover while we attempt to conceive an heir."
His head tilted to the side with that smirk, I was beginning to get used to, playing on his lips.
"Okay, when would you like to start?" He wondered.
"Might as well begin today. It's not like we have anything else to do." I shrugged.
"So, have you kissed before?" he asked.
I shook my head.
"Is it okay if I sit you in my lap?" he grasped my waist as I nodded silently.
he pulled me towards him and wrapped my legs around his waist.
"You can put your arms around my neck," he instructed.
I anchored my arms around his like he said, it was the first time I was close enough to him to smell him. He smelt like whiskey and sandlewood. I found myself inhaling his scent as I closed my eyes.
I supposed it could have been worse, I could've been married to an ugly and truly ancient man or a penniless peasent.
I was beginning to find the small pleasant perks to being Leviathans wife.
"Come closer," Leviathan beckoned me as he held my chin in his hand.
"Leviathan,"
"Ah, Levi," he corrected me.
"Levi," I sighed.
"Yes?"
"I really don't know what to do," I squeaked, my face a breaths width away from his.
"I told you, I'll teach you," He chuckled before bridging the tiny bit of distance.
his lips were softer than I thought they'd be. His smooth, warm hands ran down my back to hold my thighs.
His toungue parted my lips and slowly pushed against my own.
A hot flush ran through my body and pooled in my core.
I gasped and pulled back at the sensation.
"Are you hurt?" Levi looked me up and down.
"No, I've never felt like this before." I admitted, before leaning back in.
This time, I kissed him, my heart thumping out of my chest as I did something that felt so wrong but so right.
I began to feel a need growing within me, like an aching emptiness.
"I need more!" I demanded and began unbuttoning his shirt.
his chest was glorious and toned, not doubt, from practising his swordsmanship and hunting skills.
"Do you like how I look?" he mumbled against my neck as he laid me down.
"I suppose," I leant back let him pull off my shift, I knew it didn't hide much but the felling of fabric over my skin gave me illusion of a sheild and in that moment I'd never felt so vulnerable.
It was instinct to cover myself as I lay on the fur rug beneath us.
"Do you want to put it back on?" he leant over to pick the sheer fabric up.
"No! no I'm fine, really, I'm just not used to this." I stumbled over my words.
"Are you cold?" he asked looking down at my hardened n****e.
"Um, no actually I'm quite hot,"
"that you are," he chuckled as his eyes stared me dow. From my pink lips, to my pert n*****s and down to the curly hairs between my legs.
"Have you ever touched yourself?" he licked his lower lip.
"What do you mean?" I couldn't understand.
"Here," he brushed his finger tip against my slit, sending a shiver through me.
"No," I choked out the word with surprise.
"may I?" he asked as he leant over me so his face was over mine, his hand hovering over my mound.
