I walked with my head down. After Alpha had given his word, he went out and talked to the managing people. He made a few calls and then Grayson was getting released.
I had no idea how he had convinced them to let go of Grayson in such a condition. But Alpha seemed to have the power.
I didn't utter a word all the time. Natalie packed up the items and Alpha just carried Grayson in his arms, like a father would, with so much care and gentleness.
"Bye, Aunt Analisa!" Grayson chimed happily. "I told you my father will come and take me away." He sounded energetic for a boy who went through a retreat process in the morning.
