The seemly vulgar title of this book and the set of quotations above belie the contents of this collection of short stories about the planet Earth and its peoples. We were lucky to have access to the notes of a visitor from elsewhere, and these form the bulk of this collection. We have tried to make them more easily understood with additional material introduced as seamlessly as possible. Less serious stories are sprinkled among the important ones because we believe a smile is more important than a frown. However, we hope the collection will not be seen as entertainment only or just another Wake Up call but as a Wake Up and Do Something call, especially to those who still believe in fairies and economists.
