Planning the bachelorette party with Alison has been a blast. At least something to take my mind off the unsettling peace that’s been reigning in our lives for the past month. It’s peace, I know, but I can’t shake the feeling that it’s just the calm before the storm.
The party was two days from today, and almost everything was ready. The guys were still a little reluctant about it, but with increased security and the compromise that they could be in the office, looking down on everything and everyone through that huge floor-to-ceiling glass, they didn’t have any reason not to agree.
