Chapter 5 Present Day “You sure you’re okay?” his older brother, Enzo, asked for the tenth time since he walked in the door. “I’m fine. Can you get off my case?” Marco said and hoped this time his brother would get it through his thick skull. He loved his brother, he was one of his best friends and he’d looked up to him most of his life, went to him for advice often, but Marco didn’t feel like talking. Especially when the topic of conversation was about a person Enzo never particularly liked. “What crawled up your a*s and died?” Enzo asked as he wiped down the bar. “You. Now leave me the hell alone.” Marco walked over to one of the few tables inside and cleared the plates left by the last customer. They had a busboy, but Marco needed to get away from Enzo and keep his mind occupied.
