(Jared P.O.V)
My face turns red when I heard my parents talking about how Alia will be a good queen for our kingdom.
'She'll only be my Queen if she chooses to be mine…' I thought and continue tugging her along with me towards the garden.
It didn't take long until we're outside and into a garden that seemed much like Alia's garden.
"Jared!" a group of voices of my friends shouted as soon as we come into their view.
"I want you to meet my friends." said to her while tugging her along with me.
"Well, well, well, Ellwood finally got himself a girl. I never saw this coming." Sidharth said while looking checking her out and I let out a low growl which only us vampires can hear.
"She's too beautiful for you Ellwood," he said while looking at me.
"Be nice, Sidharth!" Linda said while hitting him on his head then introduce herself and others to Alia.
"Very pleased Alia," Priya said to her with a gentle and friendly smile.
"Pleasure is all mine," Alia said to her with her own smile. But I can see she was a little nervous with them and I don't blame her for that because I understand after getting so much hatred from her family it's normal for her to be nervous while meeting with new people.
"Would you boy's leave us so we could get more acquainted?" Priya asks while looking at me and Sidharth.
I was about to say something but cut off by Sidharth.
, "C' mon Uchiha, let Alia make some friends, you have the rest of your life to be with her now move it," Sidharth said cutting me off.
"You're treading dangerous ground Hyuuga," I said while glaring at him before turning his eyes to my princess.
"Do you want to stay with them? They're good friends of mine."I ask her not wanting her to feel uncomfortable with them and she nodded her head.
"Tell them to come to get me if you need anything," I said to her with a smile on my face.
"Geeze Jared you act like we don't know where anything is. We can help Alia out is she needs anything. Go and hang out with Matt, that i***t won't shut up until he sees you." Linda replied while Priya glared at her for calling her mate an i***t which he was.
I look at her for one more time and walk out of the garden with Sidharth.
"Hey dobe," I said to him when I saw him on the other side of the garden.
"So Finally you decided to show up huh, teme," he said and turn to look at us.
"Yup," I answered while giving him our bro hug.
"Where is she?" he asks.
"With the girls, we just arrived here and they want her all to themselves," I said while shaking my head.
"Well, girls are like that you know," he said.
"Split it out now Ellwood," Siddharth said to me.
"Split out what?" I ask her while looking at him.
"Everything that happens between you and your mate, like how you guys met, and other things like that," Sidharth said to me while looking at me.
"Oh," I said and tell them everything that happens between us.
"Dang Jared! Seriously! You'll let her go when you just found her?" Matt shouted at me.
"Yes…" Jared said.
"I didn't think you'd let her get away after you've waited for so long, Ellwood. Why would you?" Sidharth asked.
"Would you let Linda or Priya go if you knew they didn't, couldn't love you as you do them?" Both of them blinked, startled by my question.
"I love her too much, I know everything about her, but she knows nothing about me. I will let her go if she wishes."
"I would give her up… even if it broke him," I said under my breath for anyone to heard.
"She's too important to me, and if she's happy elsewhere, so be it."
"But Jared, it sounds to me like she couldn't be any happier anywhere other than with you. I mean, you said her life wasn't that pleasant in her own palace."
"I agree with Uzumaki," Sidharth stated. "But I suppose if Linda couldn't love me, I'd let her love someone else and pray that he would love her just as much as I do. But I wouldn't give up on her so easily, Uchiha, the guy could be worse than she expected."
My face darkened thinking about anyone hurting my mate.
, "I'd kill him if he dared hurt her," I said in a dark voice.
"Jared, vampires who've waited so long to claim their mate would act all 'possessive' once they've found her, so why are you doing just the opposite?" Matt raised an eyebrow at me.
"I don't know," I said to him.
"Perhaps he's just afraid he'll hurt her," Siddharth suggested.
"But Jared doesn't care who he hurts," Siddharth glared at the Matt to shut him up when he had seen me slouch slightly.
The three remained silent for a while and shortly after could hear three sets of footsteps approaching. As they drew closer the boys didn't move, the two vampires moved over to their companions and they embraced each other like a couple.
Something soft then touched one of my hands and startling me and I looked up only to see the woman I have always wanted smiling brightly at me.
"Come," she said while tugging my hand.
I obeyed and followed her as she led me the way to a secluded area of the garden.
