The job was as easy as Zander had predicted. Caiden came back with the information after his second night with the target. He also managed to get rid of a lot of s****l tension in the process. That rarely happened with him, as he was loath to hit up clubs or other spots to meet someone for a one-night stand. It wasn’t his thing and never had been.
Since Arthur wasn’t the type of man who spent all night with the target, Caiden was able to be home around midnight both days, much to Styge’s obvious delight. Cats might be independent critters, but it was apparent there a big difference between ‘Oh, you’re home. Big deal’ and ‘Where the hell have you been?’ Styge fell into the latter category.
