As soon as the words came out of Selena’s mouth, she regretted it.
Maddie was given her the most astonished eyes, but wasn’t saying anything, so Selena didn’t know what was going on inside her mind.
Would she run away from her? Would she be scared of Selena?
But out of a sudden, Maddie laughed. She seriously started to laugh like she was watching a very good comedy.
Selena was paralyzed. She didn’t know what to do.
It took a few minutes before Maddie could pull herself together and look at Selena without tears in her eyes from laughing so much.
“Oh, God! I’ve never laughed so much in my life. I didn’t know you could be so funny, girl. Wow!” she took a deep breath, still recovering from the fit of laughter.
