CHAPTER Five

1090 Words
Celestia Ryn Austen After dinner. (Flashback) We shared dinner with the former Alpha and surprisingly, it was fun because of the bond he shares with my dad. I always liked to have a relationship like that with someone, we trust one another without any doubts inside our minds. And they’re special to one another and no matter what happens, they will always have each other’s back. “Shall we go to the training grounds? And don’t worry, all of the things you need are there,” Mr. Coleman winked. “They came prepared,” Dad paused for a while before glancing at us, “Isn’t that right, everyone?” My cousins flinched at my father’s statement as they tried to play like they were ignorant as he shook his head. “Celestia?” Dad raised his tone. I excused myself a bit and instantly removed my dress in the bathroom before revealing myself to everyone in a short time. I am now dressed in short tights, and a tank top suitable for training. “I’m always prepared wherever I go,” I winked at everyone, making my dad smile as the former Alpha clapped his hands. “That’s the first task and you just passed it, Celestia,” He proudly told me. My cousins sighed deeply because they knew that this was just the beginning. “Alright, let’s do this every one!” Rums raised his fists as we all proceeded to the training grounds of the Blue Moon pack. After our arrival, I could feel the excitement coursing through my veins as the wind's cold and gentle breeze embraced our skin. Numerous pieces of training equipment were visible on the grounds, but I knew they were inferior to what we have at our primary training grounds. This is the werewolves training ground, which means it is more gruesome compared to ours. “This is where most of the newly shifted werewolves train, for now, all of you will be challenged here by one of my trusted watchers of my son, his beta, Rolland Stones,” Mr. Coleman announced. It wasn’t long until he revealed himself to us as both of my cousins almost fainted after seeing his presence. I couldn’t blame them, he is like a descendant of a demigod, and his looks are something out of this world compared to normal humans like us. “Greetings, Rolland Stones, just call me Rolly for short,” He playfully winked. My cousins almost squealed at his gesture but thankfully I stopped them. Dad is training three ladies and two gentlemen; I’m included in those three girls and the other ladies are Ley and Trent. “I’m Celestia, this is Gin, Ley, Rums, and Trent,” I pointed to each of my cousins because it seemed like they were out of words. “Pleasure to meet you everyone, and it’s so nice to see you again, Celestia,” He smiled, so I squinted my eyes. “Do I know you?” I raised my tone, including my eyebrows, so he pretended to be hurt while holding out to his chest. “You don’t remember me anymore? I played with you and the Alpha back then,” He paused for a moment before snapping his fingers, “Oh the nickname you gave me is muddy stones,” What he said made everyone laugh out loud, “What the hell! That literally took out the humor in me,” Gin shook his head. I rolled my eyes because now I do remember him. He used to ship me with his Alpha, and he always trips on mud piles, I’m not sure if he still trips on those stuff up to this day. Plus, he changed too much, which is why I couldn't recognize him. He turned out to be a little decent compared to back then. “Well as what the former Alpha has stated, I will be challenging you one by one,” Rolly raised his tone before looking at us, “But before that, you need to get changed except for, Celestia of course,” My cousins thanked him for the time he gave to them before they decided to get changed. It didn’t take a while until we were all gathered at the training grounds of werewolves. “Now that you are all here, my rule is simple, put a scratch on me, if you can,” He muttered confidently, forcing all of my cousins to stare at one another. “Okay, Rums, you’re first,” He called him, which made him flinch as he scratched the back of his head. “I’m not prepared, but okay,” After Rums said those words, he swiftly ran towards his sparring mate. Rolland was surprised with his movements, I could tell that he was underestimating us or maybe, he was surprised that humans could be at that kind of speed. He blocked and dodged all of Rum's attacks as if he was reading into everything he was doing before he decided to take charge and attack this time. What happened next surprised us because, in swift movements, he quickly lifted Rums into the air and pinned him on the ground. “Rule number one, never underestimate your enemy,” He told us before helping Rums up, “Your speed would be one of your strengths, train more on that,” Rums looked like he was disappointed in himself after the match, but what Rolland stated made him cheer up. “I will, thank you,” He beamed and after that, they took all of their turns, and no one seemed to leave a scratch on him. All of them were trying to catch their friends as we cheered our cousins, “You can do this Trent!” I cheered for her. She looked like she was pleased with what she had heard until she did her crazy ninja moves that sometimes I really couldn’t predict. Trent was huffing and puffing, one of her weaknesses was her stamina and even though she has refined skills, her stamina doesn’t catch up. She grunted when she was pinned down on the ground, making her whimper as Rolland helped her up as well. “I think you know where you need to work, but all in all, your performance is good, I almost couldn’t predict it,” He complimented her. He finally turned to look at me as I took my position in the middle. Many of them gave me their enthusiastic handclaps. To be continued…
