Carl's POV
As soon as I saw her come out of those bushes completely dressed, I spread my arms wide for her to run into them. She shot me the widest smile I ever saw on her face and ran me hugging with all her energy.
Sparks flew literally crazy that made me smile like mad! And this is the first time Layla would be experiencing these fireworks so I'm excited!! I was just waiting for some reaction from Layla.
But she pulled away and looked at me confused.
"I feel the sparks but not the fireworks mate sparks" she spoke.
"Stop joking" I laughed as I pulled her in for another hug.
"Carl! Carll I'm serious. I can't feel them" she looked dead into my eyes.
I looked at my family who mirrored my confused state as well. Aren't mates supposed to feel the fireworks sparks after they shift
