Aurora’s POV
Walking down the stairs, I was prepared to see the remnants of yesterday’s events but when I came down, the entire place was empty and cleaned out. Not even as much as an empty beer mug was to be seen. The only thing I saw, was Cassian standing by the doorway, looking outside, and once my foot stepped down on one of the crooked steps and gave me away, he turned his attention to me making me stop on the last step with my hand still resting on the railing.
“I’m impressed that you can get up this early,” he said while eying me up and down.
