Aurora’s POV I could in the distance hear light footsteps getting louder as they got closer. “Aurora.” Her sweet voice was not to be mistaken. Mrs. Clemons. “Aurora, dear, please get up,” she whispered. “We don’t have much time.” She shook me lightly and as I opened my eyes it felt like every other morning when she would wake me up to go to the market, but it wasn’t. This time I wasn’t in my bed.
