“She’s been getting up constantly at night,” Anya pointed out. “I’m pretty sure it has everything to do with missing her precious Orion.”
Amara had been getting up several times each night, much to Ramsay’s dismay and Jack’s groans when Anya had to get out of bed to get her back to sleep. Truthfully, everyone was restless with all the stuff going on, but Amara had been affected for weeks. Even so, Anya and Jack agreed to keep her in their room while Justin was here. Neither of them trusted him coming around—just in case.
Nora sat beside her against the painted wall of Amara’s bedroom, sipping her coffee. They had their legs outstretched while Amara played with Orion. Evander was with Alex doing something with chickens. It was odd not seeing them together as a foursome these days.
