Chapter 12Gary put Danny back on the bed and told him to lie on his side. “Stay still,” he ordered, then went into the bath to take his shower.
It wasn’t long before Gary was back with him. He sat down on the side of the bed and moved Danny onto his lap. “We said some serious things today to that reporter. I want you to know that on my part what I said was true. I love you and want you to be with me. To that end I’m going to collar you and then ask your brother for your hand in marriage as soon as he comes home.”
Danny asked, “Do you mean it, Sir?” Danny burrowed his face into Gary’s smooth chest.
“I rarely say something I don’t mean.” Gary pulled Danny in a little tighter. “The question remains, how do you feel?” Gary lay down on the bed beside Danny.
