Elena’s POV There was tension in the room. I could feel the anger and hatred radiating from both sides. I had to do something, or this would end in bloodshed. “Everyone, please!” I shouted, stepping between Declan and my parents. “This isn’t helping. We need to talk, not fight.” “Elena, step aside,” my father ordered. “This isn’t your battle. I will protect you.” “It is my battle,” I insisted. “I’m the one caught in the middle of all this.
