When I woke up this morning, my head was a mess. I was distracted. I was sleeping on a warm clean bed, not the cold floor I was used to. The scent of fresh baked bread hits my nose, I sit up. "She's awake.'' Someone stutters as the sound of breaking glasses fills the room. A woman was standing at the foot of the bed, looking at me with a shocked expression. I look around, and then I remember. Memories about this room come back to me like a train. I'm on the verge of tears.
"Sister!'' Alexi walked into the room. I couldn't contain myself, I run to him and hugged him. He held me up against him, hugging me back tightly.
"I've missed you so much Alexi.'' I couldn't stop crying. It's been one year since I saw him. Since I saw my family.
"Oh, little sister, I've missed you more.''
