The first agenda I had this morning was to make sure Stefanie took her meds. I bought them right after she was discharged from the hospital. It concerned me that she had to stop taking them for quite some time, even more so because of her recent fainting and the reason why she stopped in the first place. Shame curled deep in my gut. Someone answered that phone call and sent them away like they were nothing but trash. It wasn't me, and I planned on finding out who the mongrel was. Still, I blamed myself for what happened.
