I found myself waking up a lot earlier than expected. It was three in the morning when I checked the clock. Thalia barely moved in her sleep, so I wasn’t uncomfortable. At first, I worried I’d bother her, but I’d never seen someone fall asleep so quickly. I’m actually pretty envious.
Right now, my concern is Blake’s pack. I’m sure Nina is distraught and might even be crying. I would have asked permission or negotiated with Blake, but I know they wouldn’t hesitate to say no to Seth. Confrontations would only lead to someone getting hurt badly, and I don’t want that.
