LILAC Emil was surprised by her revelation, obviously nonchalant about what they heard. She backed away and was about to go back inside. I chased her and grabbed her hand. “Cordelia, get away from her,” Blake exclaimed, but I ignored him. A flash of images crossed my mind, which I think were the woman’s memories. There was a pang in my chest right after it ended. It was the pain she felt when her daughter and two other kids took their last breath. She glared at me. “You’re not from their pack, white wolf.
