"Hi Miss Quinn!" Harry greeted me with his toothpaste commercial beaming smile.

Yay! Cute. But not exactly my type.

I simply nodded at him while walking past through a bunch of assholes down my way. Sorry for the term but I just see those men staring at my butt douche and jerks.

What they are after us, women is the never ending libido stimulating hormone and the clichè ---orgasm.

Oh c'mon maglolokohan pa ba tayo? Men are men.

They will play nice and wholesome in the beginning, will get hooked with a willing victim in order to get into their ulterior motives and after that they will burst your bubble and give nothing but a pestering headache.

Hindi ako man hater. I'm just stating the fact.

I sighed. Okay I'm already late for my job.

Naiisip ko pa talaga ang mga ganoong bagay.

It's been five days since I started working my ass out here at The LORENZO Empire.

And my evaluation?

"Hay may maglalakad nanaman na demigod sa hallway at ngingiti ng pang toothpaste commercial!"

Sa totoo lang iritang irita na ako sa pagbubulungan nila. I stomped my feet loudly on the floor and cleared my throat. I glared at them when their attention were already on me. At siguro nga effective ang fiery eyes ko sakanila. Dahil nanahimik sila.

"Kala mo naman kung Sinong boss" bulong pa ng isa.

Alright, I don't want to be a cocky.

This is not the right place and time to do that.

Bakit ba kasi kailangan kong makibagay sa mga tao sa paligid? At kailangan magpanggap na isa akong ordinaryong empleyado lamang? My dad has ordered everyone who knows me in the office, specifically speaking--- the board of directors, na wag akong bibigyan ng special treatment. Wala rin ibang nakakaalaam na anak ako ni GIOVANNO DE VERA which is one of the major stock holders of this company at may ari ng mga naglalakihang malls and establishments sa kalakhang MAYNILA. Hindi nalang ako kumibo dahil ayoko ng mahabang diskusyon.

I pressed the elevator to the Ceo's floor and peeked at them in my peripheral vision still staring at my back scrutinizingly.

I know, know I'm a Goddess and they are insecure that's why they're giving me such pestering stares. I just flipped my hair and ignored them.

lumabas na sila ng elevator tsaka lang ako nakahinga ng maluwag.

Oh people. I sighed.

I composed myself and took a deep breath the moment I reached my designated floor. Okay I'm late I know at mabuti nalang si tito Yvan ang OIC ngayon.

May kasungitan daw kasi 'yung successor niya at strikto pagdating sa trabaho.

"Good morning Tito! I'm sorry I'm late. I was caught in the middle of a heavy traffic"

oh! Of course I'm lying. I woke up late just to realize my head bangs for excruciating pain. Party all night eh?

He smiled at me and shook his head.

"It's okay hija, wala ka pa naman tambak na trabaho ngayon. But since malapit ng dumating ang CEO, be sure you'll wake up earlier than expected. Medyo masungit iyon" he said while winking at me.

I want to roll my eyes at his remark, As if I'm threatened. But then.. I almost forgot my manners.

"Ah sige po Tito I'll just fix my things and check your schedule for this day"

Ngumiti nalang ako at nagpatuloy sa desk ko. Eh ano naman ngayon kung masungit 'yung CEO na yun?

Mas masungit ako.

"Dad! You should have told me earlier! There's no way I'm gonna deal with that stupid set up! Hindi ako naging CEO ng isang malaking emperyo just to baby sit a spoiled brat!"

I was really shocked and disappointed after learning what my dad had prepared for my come back. I just arrived home at ito ang isasalubong na balita sa akin ng daddy ko.

My little poor secretary was replaced by a rebellious spoiled brat of the DE Vera's. She doesn't have a good reputation. She's happy go lucky and not to mention she's got a bad attitude. She's not even popular on the business side--well, only to rebellious activities, doon siya sikat.

Totoo nga't pinagbigyan ako ng daddy ko para magbakasyon. Pero binigyan naman niya ako ng sakit ng ulo pag-uwi ko.

"You are being ridiculous Yves. She's really smart actually, magkakasundo kayo because I find her cool and clever"

I can't understand why my dad had to put me in this situation.

Parang may nase-sense akong kakaiba. Their motive seemed different from what they have told me.

Quinn's father wanted to teach her a lesson and at the same time maging training ground ang company namin because she'll be the next to manage their company with her older brother.

Pero iba ang nararamdaman ko. Seemed like they set us up into a scheme.

I looked at my dad doubtfully.

"That's rude. Staring at your father is being impolite" he managed to maintain his firm tone.

But I know he's hiding his laughter behind.

"Dad. Stop it. I'm not going to entertain your stunt. This is hilarious" I said with a sure tone

"We'll see" then he bursted out laughing at my ridicule. And he just left me hanging on a thread. Like I was trapped in a dirty scheme puzzle.

I'm sure I won't fall for their bait. I'm used to this game. Lagi naman nilang ginagawa sa akin ito. Mina-match make nila ako kung kani kaninong anak ng business colleagues nila. But they never succeeded because I am the all might and bright, YVES LORENZO.

Alam kong hindi nila mabibilog ng basta basta ang ulo ko. At ni isa sa mga babaeng iyon ay wala akong nagustuhan.

Isa na sa listahan si QUINN DE VERA. I know she's witty and gorgeous, but it won't still work. Immune na ako sa charms ng mga babae.

I've dated a lot of supermodels and outraging gorgeous ladies in the showbiz industry before and I just used them like a disposable diaper--sawain ako eh.

So whatever game they plottef for us. It's a sure thing I'm going to let them play under my dominance.

I will never let them win.
