Chapter 6 : The Unexpected Visit

"Get it out." Hindi makapaniwalang napatingin ako sa kanya. He wants me to get it out? Ni halos hindi nga ako makagalaw dito. "Are you crazy? No, I don't want to touch it --- OH GOD! IT MOVED AGAIN! CROSS GET IT OUT!" hindi ko namalayang nagpalundag lundag na pala ako sa tubig. Damn. "Damn it, woman. Stop moving." I stopped moving and tried so hard not to move. God. Pahawakin niyo ako ng palaka, snails, etc., but not those creepy crawlies. Not snakes, not eels not those kind of crawlies. "Damn it. Cross, get it out!" "You get it yourself." "Are you insane?" "No. I'm sane enough to let you get it out yourself." "What?" "You expect me to insert my hands there? Inside your shorts?" "Get this thing out without inserting your hands inside!" "Then how the f**k can we get it out then?" "I don't know!" "You get it out. Fuck." Inis na napakamot siya sa kanyang ulo. This isn't my fault I'm born with the fear of crawling creatures! "I can't touch this thing." You'll scare that one. I think it's an eel." "E-eel?" "Open your shorts and get it out." "I can't! No! I will never touch this thing! Please just get it out!" He submerged his hands underwater and I felt his hands on my zipper. "Stay still." I gulped as I felt his hand moved and opened my zipper. "Te-teka. W-wala na bang ibang paraan?" He looked at me as if gustong gusto na niya akong sakalin o 'di kaya lunurin na sa tubig. "There is. You get it out yourself. Now if you don't want me to get it out, ikaw ang kumuha." I gulped again. Anak ng pagong. Napatango nalang ako and put my hands up again. He then proceeded to opening my shorts. Napapikit nalang ako ng mariin. "J-just make it quick." He took a glance at me and rolles his eyes. "Stop making that face. You look like I am about to.." "To what?" I said habang nakapikit pa rin. "To make love with you." I opened my eyes abruptly at tiningnan siya ng masama. "Stop saying perverted things, will you?" He just smirked as I felt his hand now inside my short. I stiffened. "Try to relax. They sense fear." "Your hand is inside my shorts and you expect me to relax?" Sinamaan ko lang siya ng tingin. "Brat." Sinamaan ko lang siya ng tingin. There's no sense arguing with him. I felt him removed his hand at napahinga na rin ako ng maluwag as I also felt that thing out of my shorts. Of course, we did not go home in peace. I cursed him multiple times and he, in return shot death threats and death glares at me. I know he only did that to get that thing out which I am too scared to do myself but considering the fact that he's a perverted bastard, I can't accept that fact that he just inserted his hand inside my shorts. That was punishable. Very punishable. "Surely you're not thinking of punishing me, are you Princess?" I smiled sweetly at him habang hinihiwa ko ang talong para sa hapunan namin. "No. Not at all." He just smirked. "I've seen you in your brassiere and now that?" He looked at me habang nakataas ang kilay. He is still wearing that smirk which I always find annoying. "When we're in Oregon particularly your palace, we could've gotten married." "Hah! I am thankful wala tayo sa Oregon." True. If my parents know that this jerk saw me in my brassieres and even... God, I don't even want to mention what happened earlier -- they'd probably insist we get married. No. We will be forced to get married. "As if I'll marry you." "I won't marry you either. Kahit ikaw nalang ang lalakeng matira sa mundo. I'd rather kill myself." "No. Kung tayong dalawa nalang ang natitira sa mundo, you'll not kill yourself. I will kill you myself." "Uunahan na kita." "Then let's see who's faster." "Why are we talking about who's going to kill me?" He just rolled his eyes at umakyat patungo sa kwarto niya. Our dinner went quietly. Wait, I was lying. We ate just as usual. Exchanging glares and death threats. Nothing new at all. Nasa kwarto na ako ngayon. I don't know if talagang soundproof ang kwartong ito but I am thankful wala akong naririnig na ungol sa kabilang kwarto. I rested my body on the soft matress. I opened the door to the veranda para makapasok ang malamig na hangin. The moon is full. The birds have gone quiet and probably are on their homes after a long day. I only hear the sound of crickets and the faint sound of an upbeat music on the other side of the shore. Maybe I can see them partying if I stood at the veranda. I decided to step outside and faced the direction of the lake. And indeed, the campfires and torches illuminated the shore. Do they do this everynight? Ang saya naman. I wanted to go there but Cross said no. That devil. I was about to go back to my room when I heard a familiar voice. It wasn't cold like Cross' but it was playful and naughty. Agad ko siyang hinarap. How the hell did he get up here? Well, ano pa bang aasahan mo, Muriel? He's a goddamn ninja. He can do everything much less climbing a veranda! "Hi there, Princess." "White ninja." I muttered as I saw how his hair shone under the moonlight. I see disapproval in his face nang sabihin ko iyon. Ayaw niya sa nickname na iyon? "I am Yuan Flux, not White Ninja." "Right. Your hair's gorgeous!" I saw how his eyebrows furrow when I said that. "That was a compliment." I muttered and now, nakataas na ang kilay niya. I rolled my eyes. Labo kausap. Siya na nga itong binibigyan ng compliment and it is considered an honor if a Princess gives you a compliment. Shouldn't he be flattered? I was about to get into my room nang hawakan niya ako sa pulsohan and pinned me into the veranda's glass door. He looked at me as if he's going to devour me. Oh god. "D'you know how much I think of your body every single damn day?" It's now my turn to raise a brow. Nabaling sa ibang direksyon ang mukha niya and he stayed like that for a while na tila hindi makapaniwalang nasampal ko siya. "Pervert." I muttered at sinamaan siya ng tingin. He looked at me looking a bit shocked. "Did you just slapped me?" "First time? There's always a first time for everything, ninja." "First time, huh?" He smirked. "Can I kill you? It will be the first and the last. What d'ya think?" He gave me a serious look and a devilish smile. He ain't serious, isn't he? "How about I kill you instead?" Shivers shoot down my spine as I heard that voice. Cross. And nasa likuran siya ng ninja while pointing a gun on the back of the ninja's head. I saw the ninja smiled devilishly. "Cross." "Since when did you take interest in climbing somebody else's veranda?" "Since this little princess lived here. I was planning to take her but you came. Always the bad timing, aren't you?" "You know I won't hesitate killing you right here, right now." "What right do you have to keep her?" "She's my prisoner." Cross answered and I heard the ninja chuckled. He let go of my hand which he was pinning earlier and faced Cross. "Why do we always compete for everything?" Iyon lang ang sinabi ng ninja and jumped down the veranda. Nang tingnan ko siya sa ibaba, he's casually walking as if he just went out through the door at hindi tumalon mula sa veranda. Ibang klase. I must be hallucinating when I see something in his eyes. Sadness? Sorrow? Whatever that is, I chose to close my mouth as he silently jumped from my veranda to his. As what they say, the person's past molds a person's present character. They seem to be broken.  Lethally broken. ***
