Caitlin's POV   "Am I thinking it right, you've been doing Ciara's reports for so long?" Yuri's voice boomed at the room once I entered the office. I was startled by the sound of her voice and my eyes caught the stares of everyone from the team. A long sigh escaped my lips. Another problem, and I hate problems very much. "I don't," I said in denial. It's not good for me to badmouth my boss at this time. You can't trust everyone. I don't wanna get into any more trouble than I'm currently in. She squinted her eyes at me as if scrutinizing if I'm telling the truth so I avoided my glance at her and started doing my daily job. Thank God, she decided to give up in pressing me any more answers. Just then,  we were all startled when a few of the maintenance crew came in. "Sorry,  we would like to bother you guys a few minutes because we'll have to make a few adjustments," One guy stated and we were quite confused. Are they gonna install something on our office?   In no time, three maintenance person started doing stuff, arranging the space beside me.   We watch as they set up a new work station - it was fully loaded,  with all required pedestal and all.   Once they were done, Yuri went to my table. "Wow, are we going to have a new officemate?" she asked and I shrugged my shoulders. Another soul to treat me unkindly... The day had passed like the usual,  the only difference is that Ciara never came to our block and it's quite refreshing to see her camping inside her own office, burying her head with all the paper works she has to finish - something she rarely does.   And for once, I might be going home earlier than she does. We were all fixing our things as we all get ready to go out. "Hey, do you wanna go and hang out?" Yuri beamed and I smiled at her. She had been very clingy since earlier and I'm not even sure why. I know she's kind but she seemed to stop caring whether Ciara will be annoyed at her or not. To be honest, I'm starting to get envy at her very positive demeanour and I'm wishing I have enough courage like her. For once, I feel it's okay to have fun, so I agreed. She looked taken aback for a moment but smiled nonetheless.   "Wow, is this true? The ice queen is finally going to hang out with people?" I heard Lucas exclaimed and I was confused a little when I saw a few of my team members smile.   Huh?   "Mhmm," I don't exactly know how to react. Miss Haru, one of the oldest employee smiled at me. "Don't mind Lucas. He's just salty because you never said yes to his advances yet you are always kind to Yuri. He thinks you don't like men," she said and the others laughed at her statement. What? Did he actually think I hate men in general? My eyes landed on Yuri and her eyebrow raised. "Hey, I'm straight, though there's nothing wrong with liking the same gender, but yeah, I don't like women like that," I started rambling and Yuri laughed at my reaction.   "I didn't say anything, you silly," she chuckled, "Though I might say, you don't look bad actually," she teased and I grab a notebook and threw it to her direction which earns a whole lot laughter from the group. "I know I'm pretty Yuri but I cannot say the same towards you," I bantered and she threw back the notebook to my direction.   "I didn't know you were fun to be with like this. And here we thought you're all that mighty coz you never bother to mingle with us," Hani, my other office mate muttered and my eyes went wide.   Is that what they thought all along? I scratched the back of my head in embarrassment. Seems like I made quite an impression, huh. "No. It's just that, I don't have that many friends around here so I'm not that good with people," I told them and Hani winked at me which made me flush a little.   "You're usually just conversing with the managers and never to us. Well sorry for judging too," Lucas added I almost coughed real bad.   "Oki is my cousin and they are my friends," I explained and they nodded.   "I guess it's never too late to hang out, are we? Well, why don't we all go out this weekend?" Miss Haru asked and I looked at them hesitantly.   I'm not yet really comfortable with mingling with people or hanging out to some place.   "How about we hang out at your house then?" Lucas asked cheekily and before I can even say no, Miss Haru and the rest liked the idea and I wanted to groan in frustration. My eyes landed on Yuri and she was liking the situation so much. I rolled my eyes at her and I can't believe the words that just came out of my lips.   I f*****g said Yes.   By the time Yuri and I were walking out of the office, she was already skipping on her feet. And few people were actually looking at us weirdly.   "Hey, what are you so giddy about?" I asked her, getting embarrassed with the attention. She looked at me like I just grew some balls on my face. "Caitlin, are you kidding me? This is like the news of the century!" she exclaimed before raising her hands up high while mumbling, "The great Caitlin just said yes to a coffee date with Yuri, isn't that amazing?" she said in her most animated voice I wanted to kick her straight in the face.   "I'm going to push you on some stairs later if you don't shut up," I snarled and she just smiled cheekily at me.   I just realized that she's like a female version of Oki, and I'm not sure I can handle another of my cousin.   However, just right after we reached outside of the building, a car stopped in front of us and as the window started rolling down, my heart started beating rapidly. And once it did, my eyes went wide open and I was sure that it was Yuri who gasped loudly.   Seth, in his black shades and with all his glory, is gawking at us in a rather bored manner, though I can't really see his eyes. What is he doing? In confusion, I backed away a little but I noticed how Seth's lips puckered at my sudden action. "Caitlin,  hop in," he said full of authority, without any emotion and I gulped.   Yuri's eyes would probably fall down on her sockets and that scared me even more.   "Sir, I'm sorry but do you need anything? We actually have someplace to go,"   I didn't know how I was able to respond to him at all but he looked unfazed at my words. Instead, he removed his sunglasses and looked at Yuri. "Miss Yuri, right?" he asked and Yuri nodded. Seth smiled and I almost melted on the spot. Holy s**t. "Yeah, so Miss Yuri, do you mind if I borrow Caitlin for today?  You know, we have something to talk about," he stated, his smile still plastered on his face which almost took my breath away.   My eyes landed on Yuri, hoping that for once, she actually decides to be a b***h ad have me for herself. Although, I'm pretty sure that by how her eyes were gleaming while she stares at Seth tells me I'm wishing for something impossible.   "Can I come too?" she exclaimed, her hands clasped together I actually ended up laughing.   Seth looked amused. "Well, we can have that arranged but for today, I need Caitlin," he stated,  "Alone..."   My cheeks flushed at his words.   "Why?" My eyes went wide at Yuri's foolishness.   I looked at her and she just winked at me.   Oh Lord, she's mental.   "Sir, I think it's better for the two of us to go," I frantically said and I noticed Seth's face getting dim. Oh no, he's mad. But then he suddenly smiled at both Yuri and me, but not before he released a long sigh. "Okay, but I'll wait for you at home. You see, we haven't had a proper date since I went back," he stated and my jaw dropped on the floor and while Yuri probably gasped for the fifth within the day. He laughed at our reaction then turned to Yuri, the words coming out of his mouth made me lose all the colours on my face. "Miss Yuri, I'm entrusting my girl to you. And please enjoy your date," he stated before winking at me. "See you later,  babe," he whispered but my heart heard it loud and clear. In no time, he was already gone but my eyes still follow his car until it turned on the corner. I didn't know how long I was staring until pain struck me by the shoulder. "Awww!" I hissed in pain when I felt Yuri hitting me on my shoulder.   "You fucker. You didn't tell me you're Mr Richard’s girlfriend, you traitor!" she screeched and I had to do a double-take for her words to finally sink in. I looked at her wide eyes before exclaiming. "I'm what?!"
