4. Chance

The car stopped at the seven-star hotel and Kang Ray looked at Lee Jia who was stunned and looking at the entry gate. He got out of the car and walked to the other door then opened the door for her. She was in a daze when she got out of the car and raised her head to look at the tall building. She widened her mouth and covered it with her white palm.

“What the hell!” She turned her head and looked at the handsome man.

Kang Ray smiled at her and she followed him in a daze. They entered the private elevator and reached the top of the hotel. It was a large garden there and a table was decorated for them in the middle of the beautiful garden. They walked to the table and Kang Ray pulled a chair for her.

Lee Jia was in a daze and amused by the decoration and the place. She turned her head and looked at the man in a daze.

“Are you really Kang Ray?” She asked boldly. Kang Ray raised his eyebrows and looked at her with interest.

“What do you think?” His voice was pleasant and law that made her shudder and she widened her eyes and almost felt dizzy. Kang Ray held her waist not to let her stumble due to shock.

“Are you alright?” He asked while looking at her deeply. She came back to her senses and looked at the man. She was in his arms. He was Kang Ray.

She coughed and blinked her big and beautiful eyes.

“I am sorry, Mr. Kang. I uttered nonsense. I am sorry.” She said pitifully. Kang Ray chuckled and left her and straightened his back.

“Are you really sorry?”

“Yes, Mr. Kang. I made a mistake. I should not talk to you like that. Forgive me please.”

“Okay. I will forgive you. But there is a condition.” He said while hugging his chest. Lee Jia jumped in joy and held his arm.

“Really? I am ready for that condition.” She blinked her eyes and smiled at him.

“You won’t go to the nightclub anymore.” He said seriously. She blinked her eyes and left his arm then lowered her eyes.

“I am sorry, Mr. Kang. I can’t leave my job.” She said sadly and turned back to leave.

“I promise I will never let you go there.”

She stopped and turned back to look at the man. She smiled sadly.

“I am sorry, Mr. Kang. If you want to punish me, you can. But, I can’t leave that job.” She said firmly. Kang Ray walked to her with his long legs and looked into her eyes deeply.

“I will give you a suitable place in Kang Group.” He said. Lee Jia snorted sarcastically and lowered her eyes.

“I do not belong to a respected and high society just like you. My mother is an alcoholic and a gambler, and I have to dance in the nightclub to fulfill her demands. I go to the nightclub at night and work in people's homes during the day so that I can fill my mother and my stomach. Would you like to have such a background girl like me to be a part of your high society?” She raised her head and looked into his eyes with a thin layer of a tear. Kang Ray raised his arms and held her shoulders firmly.

“Yes, I will.”

Lee Jia’s eyes filled with tears and she snorted.

“Why are you making fun of me?” She wiped her tears and shook her head.

“Don’t you want a respectable job?” He did not leave her shoulders.

“You will give me a respectful job but will my colleagues and subordinates give me that respect after realizing my identity?”

Kang Ray smirked slightly.

“Who will dare to hurt you?”

She stared into his deep eyes for a while. Why he was being so good to her? She smiled and removed his arms from her shoulders.

“Mr. Kang, I am sorry. I can’t accept your proposal. You are good to me just because I saved you last night. And… I really don’t need your sympathy and help.” She said with a pretending smile. When she turned back to leave the place, her mobile rang and she picked it up. Kang Ray chuckled and placed his palms inside his pockets.

She listened to the opponent then suddenly she got shocked.

“What?”

After hanging up the call, she turned back and looked at the man who was chuckling in front of her.

“Did you do this?” She asked in a panic. Kang Ray chuckled and smirked with pride. Lee Jia sighed in panic and shock.

“Why did you do that? Due to illegal activities, the nightclub has been sealed but no such work is done there. How can you do this? Do you know how many dancers missed their job?”

“They all have got work according to them. Now you have to decide what work you have to do?” He chuckled.

“You are crazy. How could you do that?”

“I promised you that I will not let you go there. I have kept my promise.” He raised his eyebrows with pride.

“What do you consider yourself? I will... Ah…”

Suddenly, he wrapped his arms around her waist and locked her tightly in his embrace. She blinked her eyes and could not speak when she looked into his passionate eyes.

“You will get money no matter how much do you want if you don’t want to work at my company. If there is still confusion in your thoughts and you don’t want that too, I will kiss you.” He said while chuckling.

“What? Why? Ah… You…” She could not find any word to reply and sighed to prove that she had lost the battle.

“Okay, I will listen to you.”

“Good girl.” He chuckled. Lee Jia thought that he would leave her but he leaned and kissed her lips possessively. She widened her eyes but could not push him nor struggled. When she was about to lose breath, he looked at her and smiled.

“Let’s have dinner.” He said and walked to the chair and pulled it for her. Lee Jia was in a daze and could not come back to her senses. She felt dizzy and stumbled on the ground unconsciously. Kang Ray smiled at the girl and carried her in his strong arms and reached to the master hotel room. He put her on the bed and pulled the quilt for her. After staring at her for a while, he left the room.
