Lucas's POV
Days flew by quickly after Zena's arrival. Everywhere seemed calm, with no threats from Keith ever since the hospital shenanigans, and even though I was enjoying the peace, it worried me.
But apart from that, ever since Zena showed up, I hardly saw Rose now, even if we lived in the same house, she had been spending a whole lot of time with her sister and Eve and I have been sidelined.
But I didn't care, because all I could think about since Zena's arrival and how Rose proclaimed her love for me in front of everyone. I was shocked. I didn't think in a thousand years that Rose would be brave enough to do it, but she did and I was grateful that she chose to stay, grateful that she chose me.
