Rose's POV
I slowly opened my eyes, inviting the light in.
''I must have slept off while waiting for Lucas to come and release me from these cuffs," I said to myself as I pulled at the hand that was supposed to be in cuffs, but surprisingly the cuffs weren't still holding me bound anymore.
Confused, I sat up and looked around the room for any sign of Lucas but he was nowhere to be found and it was already dark outside.
“Okay, It is obvious that he has finally got back to his senses," I said to myself as my eyes soon drifted over to the side table where I saw a plate of food and a note attached to it.
Opening the note slowly, it read.
“Eat ... you had a long day"
Rolling my eyes at the words he wrote, I picked up the plate of food and started eating.
“You had a long day," I scoffed
