Rolling to the side, my eyes slowly opened as I welcomed in the light.
Last night, or rather this morning was a weird one, the conversation with Lucas still hovered endlessly in my mind.
The hurt and pain I saw on his face last night still pierced my heart so intensely, that just thinking about it now still made my body shiver.
But deep down I knew that there was still more to this story about Marie than he was telling me.
He was clearly still hurt by her death, and even staying here still brought back painful memories of her.
