CHAPTER 29

My head is still aching when I woke up.

I literally froze when I realized that I'm lying on the bed with my hands and feet completely tied.

"Do you like your new position?"

I heard a familiar voice and seconds after, I saw him walking towards me.

"What did you do, asshole? Let me go!" I'm trying to loosen the rope but it's too tight.

Hindi ko alam kung ilang oras na ako dito. Hindi ko alam kung kaya ko pa bang mahintay at umasa na mabubuhay pa ako.

"What's the problem, my lady?" he's smiling like a psycho, "I'm trying to make you comfortable."

"Comfortable, really?" inis kong tanong, "You tied my hands and my feet in this bed. Is this what you call comfortable, huh?"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I just want to make sure you can't go anywhere." he caressed my hair.

Ginalaw-galaw ko ang ulo ko para itaboy ang kamay niya.

"Palaban." he laughed, "Mukhang tumatapang ka na talaga ngayon."

I gave him a deadly glare but he's stil smiling. He caressed my hair again but this time I can't move because he's holding my cheeks.

"Wala ka ng kawala sa'kin, Bella. Huwag ka ng magpumilit pa na tumakas. No one will save you." he whispered, "Just accept the fact that you're mine. You're mine, and mine only. No one can own you except me."

He kissed me and I can feel his tongue on my mouth. I'm trying to move away but he's too strong. All I can do right now is cry.

"Tastes like cherry." he grinned after the kiss.

Dinilaan niya pa ang labi niya.

"Please, please let me go." I'm pleading but he acted like didn't hear anything.

He wiped my tears using my thumb.

"Oh, please don't cry." he said while wiping my tears, "Your pretty face doesn't deserve these tears."

He kissed me again but this time, it's more aggressive. The way he kissed me is like a hungry lion. He's also starting to take my clothes off.

All I can do is cry.

I began to feel hopeless when he started to kiss me on my neck. I'm begging but he seems deaf.

Where are you, Keifer?

"Stop it or I'll kill you." I stopped crying when I realized that it's not Keith's voice.

Keith stopped from what he's doing.

I opened my eyes and to my surprise, I saw Keifer. He's holding a gun. Nakatutok ang baril na 'yon kay Keith, sa kakambal niya.

"Talagang kakalabanin mo na ako?" Keith asked, "Ililigtas mo siya? Because you like her, too?"

"No. I'm saving her because that's the right thing to do." he angrily said.

"Keifer." I whispered his name.

Now I'm starting to feel hope.

"Being silent for almost ten years is enough, Keith! Ang dami ng nadamay. I'm an asshole for tolerating you before but now that I realized it's wrong, I will not let it happen again." he walks near me and he's still pointing the gun to his twin, "Don't ever try to make a move. Ipuputok ko talaga 'to."

"Go on! The question is, can you kill your twin?" Keith asked.

Keifer seems shocked.

"I know that you can't kill me, my dear twin." he smiled. "I am you and you're me."

"Shut up!" Keifer angrily said, "I am not a murderer like you, I will never be."

Keifer loosen the rope and slowly help me to stand up. Medyo nanghihina pa ako pero sinubukan ko pa ring tumayo.

"Don't follow us." sabi ni Keifer habang nakatutok pa rin ang baril sa kakambal niya, "Bella, go. Yani is waiting outsi—"

"Keifer!" I shouted when I saw Keith trying to hit him with a bottle.

Buti na lang at nakaiwas siya.

"Nice move, twin but I'm still better than you." Keifer smiled at Keith.

Mas lalong nagalit si Keith at inambahan siya ng suntok pero nakailag na naman si Keifer. Keifer pointed the gun again to his twin.

"Enough of those lame punches. That won't work on me." Keifer said confidently, "You will always be my twin, Keith but I'm sorry."

Ipinutok ni Keifer ang baril at natamaan niya si Keith. He grabbed my arms.

"Let's go!" we're run outside the house.

Doon ko narealize na gabi na pala kaya madilim na sa subdivision. There's no one to seek out for help.

"You are not going to escape." napatingin kami sa boses na nanggagaling sa likod.

Nang lingunin namin, we saw Keith. He's holding his injured arms.

"Babaril ka na nga lang, hindi mo pa inasinta. Hanggang braso lang ba ang kaya mo?" he said while laughing, "Weak."

"Don't mind him. Let's go." Keifer grab my arms and we run as fast as we could.

I can hear Keith's scream.

"I swear, Bella! You'll never escape!" he shouted again.

Nakatago kami sa mga punong nadaanan namin. Malaki naman ang subvision at puro kakahuyan kaya sana, sana hindi niya kami makita dito.

"Alam mo, Keifer. Dakilang pakialamero ka talaga. Mang-aagaw pa." Keith said while searching for us, "You know what? I really regret for not killing you!"

He's screaming at the top of his lungs.

"You're an assh le! Inagaw mo na sa'kin si Gwen. Pati ba naman si Bella, kukunin mo pa rin sa'kin? Ayaw mo ba talaga akong maging masaya?" he laughed crazily, "Lumabas na kayo. Alam kong nagtatago lang kayo."

Nagsimula siyang iwasiwas ang dala niyang kutsilyo. I'm afraid I might scream but Keifer closed my mouth using his hands.

Hindi ko na nga naisip na itanong sa kanya kung nasaan si Yani dahil pinangungunahan ako ng takot.

"I know you two are just here. Malawak ang subvision na 'to pero sa tagal ko dito, alam ko ang kasuluk-sulukan nito. Hindi kayo makakatakas! At kung makatakas man kayo, babalik at babalik ako sa mga bangunngot niyo." he laughed again, "Keifer. Bella, surrender yourselves now!"

My knees are trembling because of so much fear.

Can we still make it? Are we still going to live?

I know it's not the time to overthink but I can't help it. Keith has gone crazy. Wala na siya sa katinuan niya.

"Tagu-taguan, maliwanag ang buwan." Keith started to say to sing and it makes him more creepy, "Pagbilang ko ng tatlo, nakatago na kayo. Isa."

I can hear his footsteps. Rinig ko rin ang mga dahon na natatamaan niya sa pagwawasiwas niya ng kutsilyo.

"Dalawa." my heart is pounding right now.

Parang tambol sa sobrang bilis. Halos magpigil na rin ako ng hininga.

"Tatlo."

Me and Keifer both frost when we saw Keith's feet in front of us. Nag magtaas ako ng tingin ay nakita ko si Keith na nakangiti sa'min ng nakakatakot.

Ngayon, wala na talaga kaming kawala. Wala ng tutulong sa'min para makatakas.

Is this really the end?

"Gotcha."
