Rudra's POV:
It was a cloudy morning. I sat on my horse riding it in the large lawn behind my palace.
" Kunwar, Ms. Soumya would like to meet you.", said a servant as I pulled the reins of my horse noticing Soumya Jaiswal stand. The jet black horse immediately stopped as I got down.
" What is it, Soumya?", I asked my only friend and Personal Assistant.
" Its Gaurav Chaturvedi. He would like to meet you.", she said trying hard to avoid my well defined physic. I was just wearing an blue overcoat with black jeans.
" Gaurav Chaturvedi? ", I asked her not quite believing him to have the guts to come here.
" Yes. It's him.", she replied.
" Ram Singh! ", I called onto my servant.
" Yes, Kunwarsa.", he said with his head bent downwards.
" I want my sword. ", I said as Soumya suddenly looked up at me, astonished.
" What are you up to?", she asked me.
" To show Mr. Chaturvedi his correct place.", I said as Ram Singh handed me the sword.
Being a prince and not knowing how to use a sword was an irony.
I held the sword in my hand as I motioned Soumya to come along. Gaurav stood in the large, decorated hall of my house.
" What unfortunate event brings you here?", I said as he looked up towards me.
We had been staunch enemies ever since I met him but today he didn't seem to be in a situation of warfare.
" I need some money, if you could please provide me with it. ", he said in a pleading voice.
" And why should I ?", I said looking at the blade of my sword.
" I know that we have been enemies ever since but please, I need it. I want to start a business and only you can help me.", he said in a voice that gave me pleasure.
" But why-", I was suddenly cut off by my father who walked into the hall.
" Rudra, who is he?", he asked.
" He is an old friend, father. Do you have to talk to me about something?", I asked him, not really looking into his eyes. It was a very wrong thing to do.
" Oh yes, son.", he said.
" I would request you to marry as soon as possible. You see, I'm growing old. Your mother also wants the same.", suddenly an idea showed up in my mind.
" Of course, father. You don't need to worry. I have already found a girl. ", I said as he asked me to bring her tomorrow and walked away, pleased.
I turned to find Soumya stare at me, astonished. She knew that a heartless man like me would definitely not have chosen anyone but little did she know what was going on in my mind.
" I'll give you all the money you need.", I told Gaurav as he looked at me, relieved.
" But there's a condition. ", I said as I looked back at the shining silver blade of my sword, touching it.
It was cold and hard, just like my heart.
" Yes.. Tell me.. I'll do anything and everything.. ", he said.
" I want your girlfriend. I want you to sell her to me.", I said as a wicked grin spread over my face.
" You.. You want me to sell her to you..?", he asked unsure of what he had just heard.
" Yes. Or should I take that silence as a no.."
" No! I.. I will sell her to you.. Don't worry.. I'll bring her tomorrow. ", he said immediately.
" Good.", I said as a wicked grin spread over my face.
Jaanvi's POV:
I had been waiting for Gaurav. I wasn't sure if Rudra would give him the money. Just then the calling bell rang. I immediately went and opened it to find him with a smile.
He walked in and hugged me immediately.
" Did he give you?", I asked him.
" Yes! But against something.. ", he said with the same enthusiasm.
" What? ", I asked with a smile.
" You.. I know its wrong but I am sure you'll do it for me. He wants you against the money.. You'll do it right?", he asked with a smile.
I felt a cold sensation in my chest.
My lover had sold me to the Prince of my Nightmares.
