“Warrick,” I murmured, lifting my head to look into his eyes. “There’s something I need to tell you too.”
He frowned slightly, his concern palpable. “Whatever it is, Cassandra, I'm here to listen.”
I took a deep breath, gathering the courage to say what had been tormenting me since I discovered it. “I recently found out something that completely changed my life. Something I think you should know.”
But of course, it wasn’t just something I thought he should know; it was something Warrick needed to know because, in collateral effects, it would affect him too.
