Arriving at the island where we would spend our honeymoon felt like entering a hidden paradise. From the plane, the view was spectacular: an expanse of turquoise water surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. As we descended, I could see the small cabins scattered along the coast, each with its own small stretch of private beach.
