Jack I am relieved to finally see the front gate to Battle Lake. It had been a long drive from Diamond Lake, and I was growing tired of Isaac’s incessant droning on and on about nothing. I stop at the gate as a guard steps toward me. “Alpha Jack, right?” The guard asks, and I nod. “Go on in,” He gestures as the arm lifts. I punch the gas and head right to the packhouse. It’s on the lake's edge that gives the territory its name. There is a human town on the other side of the lake. They know about the supernatural just like at home.
