Chapter fifteen: Michael is going to kill me 

Third person POV 

Carol and Boni reach the mall safely, Carol being herself she started entering in every store, it's been a while since she went out shopping like this. What she liked more is that one of the guys had already taken two trips of bags to the car and Boni wasn’t tire yet. Carol loves shopping and has never found a girl that would love shopping as much as her. Now having Boni go as crazy as her shopping she knows she found that girl she was looking for in this boy here. Boni is just glad to have someone shopping with him because back home his sister was never one to go out with him. Carol can only hope that if Michael and Boni end up separating that she will not lose her best friend, because that is Boni to her. After several more hours they end up sitting in the food court eating. While Carol is eating Pizza, Boni is eating Chinese food and they are both drinking a smoothie. 

Carol POV 

Feeling so tire we finally exit the mall caring another load of bags with us, the sun is setting I just hope Adriano is not mad because to be honest I left mine and Boni’s phones in the car. They can always call the guards to know about us so yes. We all get in the care taking our bags with us because the trunk is full I guess we do enjoy shopping. The car starts and we are now heading home, its so late Michael is going to kill me for the time. “f**k” I hear the driving waking me up from my nap I look up to see the driver is looking back as well as the guy next to him. “what’s wrong?” I ask them “miss we are been followed, Leon has been trying to loose them but we haven’t had any luck.” “Have you tried calling Adriano?” “No miss our phones no longer have battery can you please let him know.” I nod turning to wake Boni up he looks everyone then realize we are not home yet. “What, where are we?” We are been followed I will look for our phones I need to let Adriano know I just wanted to wake you first.” He nods and I start looking for my phone, with so many shopping bags in the way is hard. 

After a while I find one, I take it and dial “ciao?” (hello?) I hear Adriano answer I was about to answer back when everything around me started to move, everything was so fast but at the same time in slow motion. I drop the phone as I garb hold of the seat belt I see grab onto the door hand tight, I don’t know how this happened but the car is rolling the bags are flying everywhere. I hit my head with the front seat and that’s when the car stops rolling only to see that Boni is unconscious. His head is bleeding and his window is crack. “BONI!!!” I scream his name several time the driver is unconscious as well but the other guy is not. I guess is because the car is on its side the driver and Boni been in the bottom while the other guy and me are hanging on top of them.  

The guy gets down and crawls to check on the driver then Boni, “they are fine miss they just fainted because of their hits to the head.” I nod and he grabs my arms trying to pull me down but my belt is stuck, we hear noise people are approaching us. He looks nervous but still removes a knife from his belt ripping my seat belt. I fall on his arms and he immediately puts me down, “are you hurt miss?” “No, we have to get them out of here,” “is too late miss they are here just get behind me I will protect you.” before I can question the care is move back over the tires like is supposed to, making me fall on my side, I groan in pain and I see the guard also feel half to the front seats.  

*PUNG PUNG* two shots I heard two damn shorts I look up only to see that the guy that tried to save us is now dead. I stay still under the shopping bags not knowing what else to do, I just wait listening. “Aqui esta, lo emos encontrado jefe!!” (is here, we have found him boss) what are they saying? I can only understand found, who did they found? The door on Boni’s side opens and I hear another guy’s voice “esta bien?” is who alright? Are they talking about Boni? “si jefe parece estar desmallado” (yes boss he looks to have fainted) I keep listening to many voices I can’t understand much. “muy bien, vamonos y maten al chofer” (good, lets go and kill the driver) 

Third person POV 

While the car was turning on its sides Adriano could hear the noise “Carol!” he was screaming trying to understand the whole noise. But he wasn’t alone he was in his office with Michael on his side who took his phone from him all he could hear was Carol’s scare voice calling for Boni. He felt his blood run cold, what is Boni was hurt? What if he was dead? His face appears in his mind remembering the hurt in his eyes when he last saw him. The call ended and Adriano and Michael are now concern, they both walk out the office thinking different things. Michael wanted to get on his car and drive as fast at possible to look out for him. While Adriano went to Jake who can track their cell phones, stopping Michael on his tracks. “You better not go out there Michael I need you here.” “You need me here? What for you have everyone else that can help you he needs me out there looking for him.” “I know but I need you to tell everyone, I will go to Jake he is with father and Don Jose, just go talk to all the men outside. We need a location before we take our men out there,” Michael sighs understanding but not feeling good about it. He walks out talking to all the men letting them know of the not much information that he has. 

Adriano and luck tracked the cell phones and let everyone know, they where about to head out when Adriano’s phone ring. It appears as Carol so he answers immediately “Carol?” “they killed the guards, they took Boni.” She said before she started to cry again since she has been crying before calling, the call was on speaking and hearing Carol said that someone had taken Boni made Michael feel something he has never felt before. He ended up walking towards Adriano “WHO?!” “Calm down Michael, don’t you hear she is in bad shape,” Adriano whisper but Michael is not having it. Something inside of him is burning and he wants answers more than anything right now, “I.. I don’t know who..... *crying* I... I am sorry... *sobbing* I am.” Adriano removes the phone call from the speaker “are alright? Are you hurt?” he hears a small no making him release a breath he didn’t know was holding. 

After ending the call they all headed to Carol, she was by the road with no shoes on, Luke went to hold his daughter while she cried. Adriano and Michael saw the car behind her, Michael was the first to run to the car. He saw Boni getting in the care before they felt he saw him seat behind the driver seat, he takes a look at the blood on the window and turn to see that Carol has no blood on her which means is his. “Was he hurt?” Michael asks looking still at the window, “he hit his head on the window, he was unconscious when they took him.” Answered Luke because Carol had told him everything she knew and he didn’t want her to have to tell it again. Luke asked his son and Landon to take her home then headed towards Michael. “Who took him?” “She doesn’t know all she knows is they were speaking Spanish, she said she could understand someone asking if he was alright.” At that Michael knew who took him, it had to be them who else but he Calaveras gang.
