“Can’t I talk to you?” I asks.

I need to build a rapport between us so that I can make her agreed to have a make over.

Ecean nodded her head.

Tshh. I didn’t know that it will be this hard.

“Uhm, can we be friends?” I said. I don’t want to waste my time. Whether she like It or not that I am talking to her, I will still insist to talk to her. I don’t know when will auntie be back, but I hope she won’t come back so soon. I need to make a progress to Ecean when Auntie came back.

Ecean looked at me.

“Friends?” she asks.

“Yes” I answered. With a hopeful smile on my face.

“No” she answered. My smile suddenly faded.

“Why? Don’t you want to have a friend? Someone who you can talk to and play with?” I asks.

“No” she answered. Tsshh.

“but you have no choice. We’re friends now” I insisted. Whether she like it or not, we’re friends now.

“It’s up to you. But I already told you that I don’t want to. It will only b a one sided friendship” she said.

Pffttt, one-sided friendship? Is she serious? Hahahaha I haven’t hear about it before hahahaha Is there such thing like one sided friendship?

“Hahahaha” I laughs.

“Why are you laughing?” she asks. Looking at me.

“Hahaha sorry. I haven’t just heard a ‘One-sided friendship’ word,” I said.

“Weird” she said. “You laugh because you heard a new word? What a weird person are you,” she said. Wait what? Me? Weird person? Can’t I laugh because of it?

“How can that become a weird person? Can’t I find it funny and laugh? Are serious?” I said. Ha! I really can’t understand Auntie’s niece. First, she’s throwing me an attitude, then now, she finds me weird because I laugh with the word I just heard?

“Yes. You look like an i***t,” she said.

“What?!” Arrghh!! I want to strangle her now!!

“I’m done. Wash the plates now. And please don’t bother me when I’m in my room” she stands up and went to her room.

Grr!! You’re ugly monster!! A daughter of Sadako and frankenstein!

HOOO!! Relax Avery. You’re just wasting your time with someone who is not interested in you. You’re wasting your emotion to a monster.

‘But I need to have her a make over’ I answered my mind.

ARRRGHHH!! I’m more pissed right now. What should I do to her??

I finished eating while thinking on how I can kill her—I mean, on how I can turn her to a beautiful lady.

After a few minutes, I hear something rings. Oh? What is that? I look around to find where the sound came from. It’s not my phone that is ringing. Ehhh? They have a telephone in the kitchen?

That’s new. I mean, having a telephone in the kitchen. Usually, telephones are placed in the living room.

“Hello?” I said as I picked the call.

“Avery? Is that you? It’s me, Auntie. How’s your first day? It’s easy, isn’t it? Are you friends now with my niece?--” she continuously asks. Won’t she stop for a second to hear my answer?

“Auntie, auntie! Wait. Let me answer your questions first. First question, how’s my day? It’s not that good. I am pissed right now. Second question, is it easy? A big NO!! dealing with your niece is not easy! Third question, are we friends now? Obviously not. She’s setting a huge, huge wall between us” I said.

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHA” I just hear her laugh. What’s so funny about it?

“Why are you laughing?” I asks.

“Hahahaha nothing. It’s just that, you’re he first one to complain about my Niece’s attitude. All of the maids would just quit before they would tell me the reason. I’m just… amazed” she said.

“Tshh! Don’t be amaze by that. What’s with your niece’s attitude? Plus, how can I turn her to a lady if she’s too closed off?” I asks.

“I don’t know, that’s for you to find out. Ahahahaha but remember, I want to see her improve when I come back” she said.

“Don’t come back too soon!!!” I said.

“HAHAHA nahh, you can’t stop me. So, make her a fine lady as soon as possible” she added. Arrghh!! Why is she like this to me? She knew too well about her niece’s attitude, can’t she be a little considerate for me?

I’m so stressed right now. I need to do something.

I wash the plates and clean the table. The classes will start two weeks from now. But there are orientations and campus tour before the school year starts. They make it per batch. I am in the batch 5 for orientation and tour. And the schedule for batch 5 is on Saturday this week.

I went to the garden, even though the sun shines so brightly right now and it is so freaking hot, I still decided to clean in the garden. The maids already told me that there is an gardener who takes care of the garden and plant beautiful flowers here. He usually cleans the garden every M-W-F and Saturday and Friday. And today, is Tuesday. So he won’t be coming. And the garden is a bit dirty. I mean, because of the fallen leaves and the dried flowers. So I decided to clean them up.

Cleaning and gardening is one of my hobby when I’m stress. I mean, it is what I usually do when I’m stress and I have a lot of thoughts in my head.

Today, the reason on why I am stress is none other than… tada! yeah, Auntie and her niece. I don’t know ho to deal with her. But maybe for now, I will try to talk to her patiently. Maybe, just maybe her conscience will kick in and she would agree to be my friend or if not a friend, I hope she would agree to me to change her as a lady.
