The sun warmed my legs as I exited the swimming pool. It was a beautiful summer day in Miami and I was lucky enough to spend my last day of summer vacation Lounging Poolside in this Humid Miami heat. I made my way over to my lounge chair to lay out on my towel and check my phone. I laid back letting out a relaxing breathe. My phone showed a new Snappy message. I opened it to see my best friends face steam bellowed up around her as she splashed in the hot tub, "Sid! Look at this beautiful view!" She turned her camera to show me giant white slopes and Log Chalets. " I miss you!" She said turning her camera back on herself as a guy moved over to her in the tub and pressed his mouth to her neck, She let out a giggle as the message ended. My friend Ashton hates the heat so for the summer she went to Canada on her father's dime and is apparently indulging in the culture, having a wonderful time. I felt a pang of jealousy in my chest as I thought about how lucky she was when it came to how popular she was with the guys. Ashton was blessed with beautiful blonde locks, blue eyes, plump lips, huge boobs and a fat ass. She was every guys dream, whenever we were together guys didn't so much as give me a glance. She ate up the attention and was extremely friendly with them, Ashton's type was guy, She wasn't a slut but she wasn't innocent either.
I adjusted my sunglasses and started the video. "Hey Ash! I miss you too! My view isn't too bad either." I said switching the camera to scan the pool taking in all the bare chested tanned guys. I switched the camera back over and smiled signing off the message with a blown kiss. After the message sent I switched over to find some music I typed B4 into the search bar hoping their new album had dropped, The first thing to pop up was a news article from a magazine that read "Amongst Bands New Album Launch B4's Liam Jackson and Model Jade Williams Calls It Quits!!" My mouth turns up into a slight snarl at the news, she was too much drama anyways. I didn't see the new album so I pulled up my B4 playlist and plugged in my headphones. Relaxing further into the seat I let the sun kiss my exposed skin. Good thing about wearing a two piece is minimal tan lines. the music kicks up as Liam's voice fills my ears followed by Noah's and then Sebastian's. The chorus comes to an abrupt end as Kingston's rapping comes in. I quietly rap along to the lyrics, knowing all the words. " I won't beg you to love me, when my life was nothing where were you? Lied, cheated and broke my heart, knew you were poison from the start. Leave me alone don't come back to me, when he leaves, Who would want you? Who? Who? Who?" I could really hear Kingston's emotions in his raps. He is one of the reason I am pressuring rap for my Junior year. There isn't a lot of people at North Brook's School for the Gifted that can rap, rapping isn't that popular at posher music schools. Makes sense that rapping isn't what got me accepted into North Brook, but my singing did, though if I could perfect my dancing I hope to become a triple threat with rapping, singing, and dancing, then after graduation hopefully I'll have recording offers or at least some music academy's showing their interest in me. Life defiantly hasn't been easy for me since I moved to Nevada with my aunt, uncle, and cousins. It's different from my life in Tennessee, when mom and dad passed away I thought I'd die with them but the only thing that kept me sane was my promise to them and music. Their deaths happened because of my father's job. Him and my mother had been exposed to years of radiation, long before I was born and their bodies couldn't handle it once my father retired and their exposure stopped it left them with only radiation to eat their bodies, until there was nothing left of them. I was lucky enough that my Aunt Kayla offered to take me in, she's the one who convinced me to sue the plant dad worked at, they settled out of court with enough money for me to attend North Brook and some savings for my future. No amount of money could be enough to replace my parents in my life but I can say it has helped me keep my promise to them. Kayla and Tim are good to me at least. And their son Jason treats me like his sister. My cousin Ashley is another story, she attends North Brook as a Senior, her and her friends had formed a girl group their sophomore year. They dubbed their group Girl Gang. I remember Ashton telling me she tried to join them before I came To North Brook, and they immediately turned her down, which doesn't make much sense to me, Ashton's one of the best dancers at North Brook. When I asked Ashley about it she said that Ashton didn't have the right look and they already had a choreographer. Ashley is my cousin and I love her, but her and her friends are stuck up bitches. All their parents come from money, and it causes them to have a certain air to them and their group. The four girls are pretty talented but they are not as good as the other groups that made it to fame, causing me to wonder if they will make it after graduation. "Sid!" I heard Ashley's voice cut in over Noah's right before she ripped my headphones out of my phone. I had the miss fortune of vacationing with her and the other three members of Girl Gang. My head jerked in her direction, where she had taken up residence on the lounge chair next to me. 'Her friends on the ones on the other side. "What do you want Ashley?" I asked as my last day of peace was surely coming to end. "First off, don't be rude to us, we let you tag along on our vacation, second can you please explain to me why you didn't wake me before you came out here?" I rolled my eyes behind my glasses guessing they would probably leave me here if I started an argument with them, since we took Madison's Dad's private jet here. "I didn't want to disturb you guys." I smiled sweetly at her and she scoffed flipping her blonde hair over her shoulder. She was about to say something else when a loud scream ripped out of Madison's mouth.
