Chapter - 3

(Oliver P.O.V)

I was walking out of the conference room to my office when I heard my phone ring and picked it up to see it was a mom.

“Yes, mom,” I said on the phone.

“Hello, Oliver, Olivia is coming home with kids for a small vacation, your dad was busy in a meeting and I was in the school attending teacher parents meeting, do you think you can go and pick them up from the airport?” mom asks me.

“Sure, when will she lands here?” I ask her.

“She will land here, in an hour, thank you, Oliver,” mom said to me.

“Your welcome, mom, see you later,” I said to her.

“See you bye,” she said and hang up on me. I put my phone in my pocket and go to the lift and press the ground floor button. I get out of the lift, get inside the car and drive to the airport, it takes 45 minutes for me to reach there. I park my car and walk inside the airport and start looking here and there for them.

“Oliver, here,” I heard Olivia and look at the right side to see her walking with the trolly of language while waving her hand towards me and my nephew and niece walking by her side.

“Uncle Oliver,” they shout at the same time and started running towards me. I kneel in front of them and hugged them tightly.

“We missed you, Uncle Oliver, ” they said while hugging me.

“I missed you too, my monkeys,” I said while hugging them tightly.

“Long time, no see huh, Oliver,” Olivia said smirking at me and then engulf me in a tight hug.

“Hey sis,” I said hugging her back.

“Where is Roy?” I ask her.

“He is in Italy, attending an important meeting, he will directly come here, after he was done with the meeting,” Olivia said smiling at him.

“Mom, I want to go to pee,” Stephani said getting our attention on her.

“Baby, just wait for a few minutes more, we will reach home in no time,” Olivia said to her while cooing at her.

“I don’t think, I would be able to control anymore,” Stephani said jumping up and down with a tear in her eyes.

“Why don’t you take her to the washroom, we will be waiting for you guys there,” Oliver said pointing his finger at the side of the airport. Olivia nodded her head at him and walk to the washroom with Stephani, Oliver holds the trolly in his hand and go to the place where he was pointing before with Stephan and wait for them.

“So how were your exams gone, champ ?” I aks to Stephan.

“I have answered all the questions in the paper and I am sure that I am going to scare first in every subject,” Stephan said to me with a huge smile on his face.

“Good, I am so proud of you,” I said to him while ruffling his hair. I heard my phone ring and pick it up to see one of my important clients is calling me.

“Hello, I said on the phone.

“H..He...Hello, Mr. Nara,” Mr. Rychand said and I heard some disturbance in the phone. So, I walk a little further so that I can hear him clearly.

“Hello, Mr. Rychand can you hear me, now,” I ask him while walking away a little bit from Stephan.

“Yes, Mr. Nara,” Mr. Rychand said in the phone then we started discussing a project and I turn to see Stephan was not there where I have left him, I curse under my breath and looks around my surrounding in hope to find him.

“Mr. Rychand actually I am out of my office, right now, Can I call you after some time?” I ask him while running my hand through my hair while looking around frantically to find him.

“Sure, Mr. Nara, call me later, bye,” he said and hang up on me. I walk around the airport looking for Stephan while screaming his name, Olivia will kill me if I lost him, I thought while running my hands through my hair when I saw him talking to a beautiful woman and sigh in relief.

“Stephan there you are,” I said walking towards them.

“So you are his father?” she asks me and I open my mouth to answer her but she cuts me off.

“How can you be so irresponsible, what if someone had kidnaped him or what if he got himself hurt or anything, I just don’t understand why did you guys give birth to the children when you can’t even look after them,” she scolded me in front of my nephew while I just stand there while gawking at her like an i***t. When she was over her speech she walks out over me while I just stand there Staring at her.

I get out of my trance when I feel someone pulling my pants and I look down to see Stephan pulling my pants to get my attention.

"Are you okay, Champ. Are you hurt?" I ask him while kneeling down in front of him and checking for any injuries and he shakes his head and I sigh in relief. Then I heard Olivia calling me and looking for me, so I take his hand in mine and walks towards them.

"Where were you guys?" Olivia asks me.

"Stephan also wants to go to the washroom, so I take him to the washroom," I lied to her knowing that she will tell this to the father if she knows the truth and then mom and dad will going to scold me. Stephan opens his mouth and I squeeze his hand lightly and shake my head slightly at him.

"Should we leave now?" Olivia asks and we get out of the airport and reach our car. I loaded their bags in the trunk and open the door for the kids and then walks to the driver seat. I start the engine and drive away to my parent's house while making small talks with each other.

We enter inside the get to see mom is waiting with my siblings, as soon as I stopped the car she comes towards us and engulfs Olivia in a tight hug, Ramsigh comes and takes their luggage to their room.

"Are you not going to come inside the house?" Mom asks when she sees I am not coming with them and I shook my head at her.

"Why?" she asks frowning at me.

"I have a tone of work in the office to complete," I said opening the door.

"But, you are coming to come for dinner right?" she asks me.

"Of course, I would not miss the family dinner for the world," I said smiling at her and getting inside the car and drive away to my office.
