“ P-Pardon?” I asked politely, but she did not say anything.
So, I stood there staring at her like, what the hell? Because I didn’t know what was happening. Seeing that I was not budging, she used her hand to beckon me to follow her once more and turned around and left.
I looked in the hallway, and strange enough, the guards stationed outside my room were where to be seen, which explained why the lady could access my room. Since there wasn’t anyone around, I left my room.
I had my mouth agape in shock as I went out of the room and followed her. I mean, I was genuinely shocked. What did she mean that I had the whole town upside down? I actually wanted to know why and how I, an introvert of all people, could pull that off.
