Crissie’s Pov.

I held myself for a couple of days in my room.

It was horrible.

I kept having nightmares about my parents’ death.

My family, my pack wiped out in one night and the murderer wants me in bed with him.

I need to take my revenge. I have to kill him as fast as possible and make him pay for what he has done to me. He deserves no mercy.

I wiped off my tears seeing his servant entering my room with a solemn expression.

“The Alpha has requested your presence in the hall.” She announced and walked out of my room and slammed the door behind her.

“What am I going to do now? I have to get up and see what he is up to.’ I said out loud and proceed to see him.

If the bastard does anything stupid, there was only one thing to do, and that was to poison him and escape out of this pack.

I walked hastily to the door and felt so nauseous. And ran to the toilet and threw up inside it.

I’ve been feeling this way for days now. I wonder what is wrong with me.

I cleaned off my saliva from my mouth and proceeded to the hallway and as usual; he was always having a feast.

I walked to him, and he looked up at me with a smile.

“How was your night, slave?” he mocked.

I nearly rolled my eyes and turned away from him, but what I saw next shocked the core out of me as its scent hit my nose.

I quickly got up from the bed, staring deeply at his expression.

“You are finally awake.” He uttered darkly and stood up from the chair to get the jug of water which was set on the table and poured some of it in a glass cup, walked and handed it over to me.

I hesitated, staring at the cup of water. “Don’t tell me you want to have my neck by poisoning me. I don’t care if Kjiani sends you to kill me, but I know who you are and I will make sure I tell him everything.’ I threatened.
