Chapter8 Mark

I sat on my bed in my room staring at the wall feeling heartbroken and defeated as I remembered my girlfriend leaving just a couple hours ago. I sighed and flopped down on the bed while covering my face with my arm and cried silently because of how much I missed her. I couldn’t believe they took her from me because I had plans for us. I wanted us to be together forever but that didn’t seem to be happening right now. My parents weren't here as they were working late so i couldn't talk to them about this, my sister was only eight and at a sleepover having the time of her life so she was too young for me to pour all of my stress on. My friends would probably think I'm a wuss so I didn't bother calling them.

After a couple minutes my phone pinged alerting me to a message and I saw that it was one of my friends Garret telling me about a party and he was going to come and get me. I hit the call button on my phone to tell him not to bother because I wasn't in the mood.

" hi Garret don't bother coming over I'm not in the mood for a party plus it's a school night, my parents would kill me if I left the house." I replied and Garret laughed at that.

" oh come on mark you are eighteen not eight like your sister. You should have some fun once in a while." I sighed as I realized that maybe he was right so I decided to get ready and go and have some fun so I could take my mind off Hailey.

" ok come and pick me up." I replied and he hung up saying he'll be here in ten. I got ready and grabbed the keys to the house and went outside to wait on him.After a while he pulled up and I got in the car while he sped off to where the party was. I decided to talk to him since he and Hailey were kinda close.

" Hailey left today." I said and he looked over at me shocked and focused on the road again.

" left, what do you mean left? None of us knew she was leaving, why did she leave?" He asked and I sighed and ran my hand through my hair annoyed all of a sudden.

" her dad took them back to Australia because of a job offer he got." Came my short explanation and he shook his head and sighed.

" that s***s, just don't put much thought into it and have some fun tonight ok?" He replied and I nodded my head agreeing with him a little.When we got to the party it was in full swing and I had to shake my head as it was a school night so what lie did they tell their parents in order to come? Garret grabbed two bears and handed me one so I drank some and started looking around.

Couple hours later with at least five beers and other alcoholic beverages in my system let's just say I was drunk. I couldn't even stand on my own two feet. I laughed as I watched my other friends making a fool out of themselves for girls they just met and that's when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

" hey handsome wanna dance?" In my drunken state I could say She was beautiful, with blonde hair and blue eyes and a nice body so I agreed. In the morning I woke up feeling sick so I rushed towards the bathroom. I didn't even remember how I got home, maybe it was Garret who took me home last night after the party.I took a shower and brushed my teeth I went back to bed only to see that I wasn't alone. In my bed was a very naked blonde I somehow took home last night. Shoot, I didn't remember anything. Hailey was going to kill me when she finds out I cheated on her. What the hell did I do?

" up get up you have to leave!" I screamed frantically trying to wake her up. Seems as if the achohol was still in her system and she was having a hard time getting up.

" come on wake up, you have to get out of here before my parents wakes up." I shouted again and this time she woke up. I didn't even know if my parents were home, that was just an excuse I came up with.

" what time is it?" She asked and I saw that it was six in the morning. She jumped out of bed naked and started gathering her clothes mumbling something like her parents were going to kill her and she was going to be late for school. I offered her a ride and she gladly accepted it. On my way to her house after getting directions she did a bold thing by placing her hand on my thigh so I took it off.

" listen Stacy last night was a mistake I have a girlfriend so this can't continue ok?" I said calmly so she didn't think I was mean. She laughed and placed her hand back on my thigh.

" where was she last night uh? Even though we don't remember what happened I want to continue this, you won't regret it I promise." Stacy said and I shook my head and sighed. I made a promise to Hailey and I didn't want to break it for a fling, hopefully she could forgive me when I told her I cheated on her.

" listen just think about it ok? Whenever you need someone to warm your bed I'll give you my number and you can call me or you could get it from Garret." She said and I nodded my head just to get her to stop talking. What the hell do I do now?
