MISSING: THE LAST FOSTER

Chapter 28

Raixen alone came back to the address where he still believes that has something to do with the Fosters and for the nth time, he failed. The tiny way to the house is gone, really gone. Now he is driving on his way again to the bridge where Shekinah's car was found. Still not receiving any updates from the authority and he himself haven't seen anything they can use to make those people bring back Shekinah.

Raixen roam his eyes around and the new cctvs are now scattered. The same scenario when the President, Mr. Alexander Foster and family had an accident in this exact and the same place, the cctvs were broken and they replaced it with new cameras in the same day. When Shekinah's car found in this place, report said the cctv isn't working, broken and in the same day, they put new cctv cameras and now it's working.

They are freaking playing with people. Now Raixen realizes that whoever is there behind everything happened with the Fosters is no ordinary person. He or she could have the power to control everything with his word and resources.

It's been 7 weeks and day by day past with no update about Shekinah Foster and her Family's case is still hanging, still a rumour for people because of the lack of evidence.

Raixen looked at his phone when it rings and his mom's name popped up in the caller ID.

"Mom?" he answered and eyes narrowed when he heard a crying Lucas in the background.

("Hello, Raixen? Lucas ruined your flash drive. I was trying to insert it in my computer and it's not working anymore. I just thought this one is important because he found it under your bed,") his mom said.

"Flash drive?" he asked and trying to remember if he has a flash drive scattered. He always put his stuff in his drawer.

("Yes, is this not yours?")

And Raixen's mind just flew away somewhere and realized something. That can be the flash drive he found in Shekinah's father's office! Damn! Why the hell he forgot about that?! He had it in his pants and he really did forget it. Raixen run his hand in his hair in frustration.

"Y-yeah, that's mine, mom. I'm driving, I'm on my way. Don't throw that one, can you keep that and make sure that's safe?" he asked in his very serious tone. He can't just be reckless knowing that his recklessness almost lost an evidence. That can be an evidence!

("Where are you, Raixen? Don't go somewhere far alone again! I can't afford to see you in the hospital bed again, Raixen!") he heard his mom said, yelling.

How can he forget that day, he was on his way to the Foster's museleo when suddenly while driving, a black huge paper covered his car's windshield that cause him into the stone wall of the house along the road side. He was in a hurry that he forgot to lock his seatbelt and because his ran was a little fast, his forehead knocks in the steering wheel, and that scared the hell out of his mom.

He keeps on telling him, he can't be in danger, can't be in accident. How can he find Shekinah and bring her back if he is dead. He understand that, but if there's a time that he again need to ran in a max he will surely do it again, if the prize of that is the unharmed Shekinah Foster, he will not be having a second thought.

"I'm just 30 minutes away, mom. Please keep that safe," he said, his mom ended the call without even saying good-bye. He again focused his eyes on the road and taking overtake with the other cars.

Some even bring their middle finger outside the window to show and curse him. Raixen doesn't have a second to take their jokes. Everything in his life now is beyond f*cking serious.

When he finally reaches their home, he immediately run to his mom and lend his palm on her mom. His mom knows what he is asking and she didn't ask a question and just put the flash drive in his hand. Raixen had to check everything about the flash drive for it didn't work until it finally works and one — there's only one file in it.

It's a video. Raixen closed the door of his room before playing the video and he swears a lot when the video didn't shows a light and someone in the dark speaking. It's a man, obviously it's a man.

The video is a warning for Shekinah to stop searching evidences for her family. She should just accept the fact the her family is gone, that the President is gone and will never be back because they are gone, forever! He even said some threats to Shekinah and to throw all the collected evidence or else, her life is the prize.

"Who the f*ck is that man?!" Raixen said and wasn't able to control his anger that he kicks his guitar near in his computer table. "Who the hell are you? You stupid criminal!" he added, shouting.

This is a f*cking evidence to show the world that Shekinah Foster didn't commit suicide like how some other people believe in. They are just thankful that some of the Fosters supporters are helping them to look for Shekinah. The whole nation knows Shekinah, they knew how she looks like.

Raixen played the video again and he almost had his fist in his monitor! He immediately copied the file and remove the flash drive.

"Rex! Where are you going?" his mom asked when he is in a hurry running downstairs. He looked at his mom and kiss her in the cheek as well as Lucas.

"I found an evidence, mom. Hopefully this can help, this can start Shekinah's case," he said with a smile in his lips. His mom's eyes widened in happiness and tears came out that quick.

"Really? Are you sure?"

Raixen nodded. "This evidence can't bring us to Shekinah yet but this can help us open her case, this will be the start and so Shekinah's case won't be unknown anymore, please keep this information confidential mommy, don't tell anyone yet even the police," he seriously said and that made his mom's eyes narrowed.

"If that's an evidence, you should hand that to the authorities," his mom snide.

"I know, but just don't tell them. Wait until I give this to them," he said and his mom doesn't have any choices so she just nodded her head.

Raixen was about to open his car when he receive a call from Hedeliza.

"Hiede" he said and his eyes squinch when he noticed she was panting.

("Rex, help!") she said shouting in the other line. ("Rex, someone is after me! I can't fight, my ankle!")

He immediately started his car while still have Hedeliza in the other line. Her ankle was sprained when she tried to climb Shekinah's ceiling when she noticed something different and she was right because that was a very macro chip and for what, they do not know. When Hedeliza was about to touch the chip, it melted.

"F*ck! Where are you? Don't put your phone down, stop running, Hiede, find some place you can hide!" he said in his firm voice. Raixen looked at his wristwatch and it's nearly 6 pm.

("Yeah, I am hiding in a huge mango tree in our village. I can see the guy, he is scanning his eyes around. This man is bizzare, I was just having a walk to exercise my feet when I notice in the parked car's mirror that someone is walking after me,") she explains while catching her breath.

Hedeliza is the closest in Raixen house and it just took him less that 5 minutes and finally enters the village.

"Where are you, Hiede?" he asked seriously. He is looking left and right of the road to find the huge mango tree.

("Take the left intersection Rex, he is moving into my direction but you can catch him when you take the left. I'll try to block him when you're close," Hedeliza seriously said. She can do that, she just couldn't fight because her sprain is no joke and her ankle is swollen really bad. But with Raixen, she knows they can corner this guy.

She can't see the face of the guy for he is wearing a cap that covers his eyes. He didn't actually looks scary but his aura in Hedeliza's instinct is off.

"You are 1 minute away from me," Raixen said while looking at Hedeliza's phone location, he had to open her gps for he didn't notice the mango tree in here.

("Okay, that's close, can you see a guy slowly walking?") she asked almost whispering. The guys is just less than 10 meters away from her.

"Get out now, Hiede!" Raixen said and yelled. Hedeliza is too quick to roll her body to come out and get the guy blocked while Raixen's car is in the guys back. Hedeliza was able to block the guys with his legs making him stumble. Before he got a chance to get up and ran away, Hedeliza got her chance first to locked her arms in the guys neck.

Raixen immediately succored Hedeliza. He lead the guy to stand up and bring him to his car. Hedeliza and Raixen looked at each other and nodded.

But when Hedeliza opens the backseat door and Raixen was about to put the guy inside an arrow from nowhere shot in his head and that made the two of them shock! Hedeliza covered her mouth with her palm while Raixen let go of the guy.

"F*ck, Rex! This is set up!" Hedeliza said with a force in her voice. Raixen looked at the place where the arrow came from but no one is there. It's just a trees of star apple.

Raixen pushed the guy's body inside his car and bring it outside the village. From the car, they check the place if there's a cctv camera and good thing this part doesn't have any cctv camera.

Hedeliza took her phone out and call someone her family knew. Hedeliza had to use her parent's connection.

"Let's not get involve in this thing Rex, let's bring this guy in this address," Hedeliza said showing the address written in her phone. Raixen looked at her and she just shrug. "That is clearly a set-up, that is probably the reason why this guy didn't approach me. He was just walking slowly while following me in every block, he was waiting for me to call someone," Hedeliza explains and Raixen agree.

They brought the lifeless guy to the cremation center. They can't let that incident bring them down. They are not the one who killed that guy but that would be easy to point a finger to them for there is no other people in there.

"That was a very nice move," Raixen said with his eyes seriously looking straight to the road.

"Lizle will agree with me. Do you think it has something to with Shekinah? I know we should not connect Shekinah in everything but it just happen started the death of the President. And the current President seems like already forgotten the late President. He is enjoying his chair now," Hedeliza said gritted her teeth.

"Shekinah got a death threat," Raixen said when he remembers the file in the flash drive. Hedeliza's eye widened.

"Why? It has something to do with her family? With Mr. Alexander Foster, the late President, her dad?" she asked and Raixen nodded as a confirmation. That is what the video said.

"She really seems like found the evidence that can point a finger to the culprit. She was warned to stop investigating and shut up and close her eyes, she was warned to forget her family otherwise her life is to exchange," Raixen said. His blood is boiling, he couldn't imagine what he could do if he will be given a chance to meet the person in behind the Fosters tragedy.

"If that so, it's either they got the evidences Shekinah have or Sheki got a chance to hide her evidences."
