You are eating the sea, that's it, only the sensation of a gulp of sea water has been wafted out of it by some sort sorcery, and you are on the verge of remembering that you don't know what, mermaids or the sudden smell kelp on the ebb tide or a poem you read once, something connected with the flavor of life itself.

|“So are you taking part in the competition?" Emil asked.
"I don't know. I'll see." I huffed.
"Fine, anyway did you know about Johnson's test today?" He asked me. This was very much like him.
"Yes..." I narrowed my eyes and looked at him with suspicion.
"He told us about that test two weeks ago." I pointed out.
"So...like...could I...you know..." He trailed off.
"No Emil you cannot copy of me." I gave him The-what-the-hell look.
"Ah come on, please." He begged.
"No." I said simply. God help this him pass.
"Let me or I'll tell Becca you're in love with her and that you're really just to shy to tell her your feelings." He threatened. God help me.

"Well I found the address of the car." Michael call out to me as he threw a file on the table. I picked it up and flipped through it as he moved my chair and took another chair and say beside me while he typed something on my laptop.
"So the car belongs to Jonathan Greene. He's 48, married to Katelyn Greene. Has six children." Michael recited.
"How old are the children?" I asked him as I went stared at pictures on the screen.
"23, 21,20,10,4, and twins 16." He recited the numbers with reluctance.
"He would be 16." I murdered to myself out loud.
"You're right, three boys and three girls. Yet the twins are...16. A boy and a girl."
"They could be in relation to him. His friend, girl friend, our even cousin, maybe even his neighbor." I exclaimed.
"Michael this could be the key to everything. They could lead us straight to him." I said as I ran my fingers through my hair.
"I know. This could very well be." I looked at Michael for the first with an emotion that I hadn't shown in 16 years.
Hope...
I had so much hope.
"Get me pictures of them, in school, outings, anything." I told him while leaning back on my chair.
"Okay, just please... Pan. Don't get your hope up." He looked at me with concern. I sent him a faint smile as he awoke and gently kissed my forehead.
"It's to late for that Michael." I whispers as I watched my fingers tap on the mahogany table.
"I know beautiful. I love you and I'll always be her for you." He brushed my hair back. I smiled at my brother, I was indeed very lucky to have siblings like him.
"So let's pay them a visit shall we." I sent a faintly amused smile his way as I then noticed the trace of lip stick on his collar.
"Oh and brother." I call out to him as he was about to leave.
"The next time make sure she doesn't get lipstick on your clothes, you should be a little more stealthy." I tease him as he turns flush and leaves.
I turned back to the screen that displayed a picture of the Greene's.
I had hope. Finally I had hope.
"I'll find him Lucien, even if it's the last thing I do. I promise you." I thought out loud.
Now time to pay the Greene's a friendly visit.

"So you taking part in the talent competition?" Emil drilled on.
"I don't know." I said yet again.
"Oh come on... you have to." He pushed.
"Why do I have to? I've never been into things like this E. It just isn't me." I snapped. Why was this such a big deal to him. It's not like he bet I'd win. Did he?
"Exactly! Cass you are great at playing. You need to step out of your comfort zone. I know for a fact that you will win. Come on man, I believe in you." He encouraged me.
"Maybe that's not enough." I muttered under my breath.
"I know why you're like this." He exclaimed.
"Enlighten me." I said rolled my eyes.
"I will. It's you're parents. You have to do this for yourself." He told me.
"Fine I'll do it, now leave me be." I shot him a look and walked across the lawn to the door.
"MOM?!" I called out as I entered the house yet there was no sign of life whatsoever.
"DAD?" Yet again there was nothing. It was strange to say the least. They always came home early and they always told me when they were going some where.
Where were they?
