A dreadful feeling suddenly washed over me as I stared at Bilal, mouth agape, toying with his words in my mind.
“What? I don't understand what you mean.” I finally said, shaking the sand off my body. “We have the letter you sent to Aiden. With your seal.” I explained.
Bilal, the dragon commander of the Dragon Sultanate shook his head. “Like I said, I didn't send one. It’s why it came as a shock when I received your letter, alerting me of your arrival, two days ago.”
“This makes no sense,” I sighed, slipping the bag from my back and digging into it to fetch the letter. That doesn't mean I didn't know what happened. If Bilal didn't send the letter, then someone else must have lured us out here, which means they were keeping tabs on us.
