SHERNEIL. We walked down the dusty road that blended in between the spotted grasslands and foothills. With each step we took, the road grew rockier, bordered by a side of harrowing ravines. I had never done anything like this before. Never been out in the wild or trekked for hours without any rest. I'd mostly been the type to investigate from the inside, gather the data submitted, and analyze it. This, however, was a whole new experience. We’d been walking for over five hours since we separated from the others. We hardly spoke at all, because according to Khalil, it was best if we saved our energy since we didn't know exactly how long it would take us to find the Night Witches. We hadn't come across any of the witches, nor any humans. Although, that was likely just wishful thinking. W
